“The hotel is an absolute gem. Lovely architecture, wonderful park and fantastic staff. Had a nice view from the terrace (recommend the executive room with balcony/terrace) to the surrounding hills and park. Very good fitness room for our needs. Some staff spoke mainly Italian, but were always extremely friendly and anticipated our needs really well. We extended our stay for the whole week and skipped Tuscany altogether. If looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. Very genuine, very friendly, very Italian. Especially the outdoor pool area was a wonderful mix of locals and hotel guests, with very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the whole place and will definitely come back and recommend to friends.”

“This is a really old hotel with dated rooms and facilities. They do not speak English. I joined them for the evening meal which was a set meal. There was no real choice but the food was ok. A bottle of wine and water with coffee and Grappa to follow cost only Euro15. They cater for the elderly, some possibly resident there. It was an experience and they were all very nice.”

“The apartments are very clean. You basically have everything you need, two bedrooms with extra beds, a kitchen with fridge, stove and kitchen supplies, a big bathroom with a very spacious hallway. Also lots of space for parking right outside. It was a pleasant stay and i found out Castrocaro Terme is a lovely little city with great points of interest, it kinda gives you the impression the sea is two feet away. I also need to mention that the owners were very helpful and polite. I recommend this property.”
