Taximi is a beautifully restored guest house tucked away in the quiet town of Argalasti. The area charms with its authentic small town energy; the people are kind and pace is slow. Staying at Taximi was a highlight of our trip. Aside from the comfortable bed that provided a deep, uninterrupted sleep, it was really the people that made the difference. The level of service at Taximi was exceptional - like staying with family. They've thought about all the extra details, like sustainable bathroom products, artisanal products at breakfast and a wine tasting from the local winery for their guests. The outdoor pool + shower is a total bonus. We will definitely book here again. We miss our friends at Taximi already!

Once we found it, which took half an hour looking up all the adjacent tracks, which wasn’t ideal two up on a fully laden motorcycle, because there is no signboard or any indication whatsoever that it is Casa Dobrescu, which we were told was deliberate, we were warmly welcomed by the host into the property which is fairly recently built. The room itself is very comfortably furnished and the whole property nicely finished.

The location and view of the bay were amazing, especially considering the fact that we had the room upstairs. Also, we had a few beaches near the property that were almost empty and with natural shade so no need to carry an umbrella since natural shade is way cooler. Because it is a bay and its not the open water the sea is almost always calm and there are no waves. Its perfect to swim in the secluded beaches that are nearby.
