Warm and comfortable in a beautiful old farm house. The surrounding countryside is exquisite. The hostess, Celia, is a superb cook, and offered evening meals that were a gastronomic delight.

We so enjoyed the tranquil location of Longhill Farmhouse - close to all of our favourite Galloway places and yet secluded and peaceful. We arrived to find this lovely light and airy house sparkling clean and fresh - a delicious home-made cake had been left for us to enjoy ... we were very soon feeling utterly relaxed and at home! Just myself and my partner - but Longhill would make the ideal family holiday destination - so much for kids to enjoy and adults will be delighted, too!

spacious, clean, lovely location/views, the farm animals on the doorstep was lovely, the owner who lived in the farmhouse was also very lovely.

Craigadam is an unusually attractive farmhouse, home and hotel. Lovely wood panelled dining room with adjoining snooker room with full sized table so the fun for me was the snooker contest! There’s a comfortable lounge for use after dinner all beautifully decorated and homely. The food was very good. Excellent sauces and some original dishes such as the croissant egg and lemon pudding! Good choice of breakfast foods nicely cooked. Fresh homemade bread.
