The facilities are great, the rooms are very clean and comfy, and with many commodities (TV, Mini-fridge, Fans, bed sheets/ winter blankets, towels, stove, etc). From the moment you arrive you feel welcome, the Hostel creates a great community fostering inclusion and fun times. The location is great, right next to the bus station, a couple of blocks from the beach, and many supermarkets and food shops nearby. The Hostel also has fridges with an awesome selection of imported beers (national and international), curated by Vincent himself. If you are planning to stay in Madryn you don't have to think anymore, this is the place to stay.

At the hostel, every room has air conditioning and a shared bathroom. This spacious and airy hostel (with AC!) is in a very quiet beach village on Peninsula Valdes, a nature reserve on the Golfo Nuevo. Even outside the much more popular whale-watching season this area is so incredibly rich in wildlife, sea life and fossils that I stayed for three weeks instead of three days. If you're still a beginner in Castellano and Google Translate fails, there are several people in the village who are fluent in English and can translate further. The locals are very welcoming. I particularly recommend Serena de Mar, the cafe by the beach, for snacks and meals. There's no breakfast provided at the hostel, but the kitchen facilities are good, plenty of fresh ingredients to buy nearby, and we created some delicious collaborative home-made meals. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very glad to have chosen to stay there and will return. Oh, and the hostel showers are great!

Rooms at Piuke Mapu Patagonia Hostel feature a lively décor with colorful details. All of them include shared bathroom facilities and lovely views of the surrounding Patagonian mountains. The hosts were lovely and made sure we had a great time during our stay. The bed was comfy and the shower nice and hot. The surrounding area is beautiful and you can see a lovely field of lupins from the living room.

Located between Lago Puelo's commercial area and Lago Puelo National Park, Huala Hostel has cosy rooms surrounded by an extensive park with fruit trees. A daily breakfast is offered and there are shared kitchen facilities. Wi-Fi is free. excellent location t and the premises are beautiful but more importantly, Maite is a superb host!

The rooms in La Tosca Hostel feature either private or shared bathroom facilities. Some rooms have garden views and TV. Each room features individual heating and hot water is available 24/7. The staff were all wonderful in giving us a full tour of the property, offering to help book activities, and even teaching us some more Spanish! Breakfast included was wonderful, with tasty cakes every day. The hostel was clean, welcoming, and had a homely vibe. Special thanks to Eduardo for letting us stay after checkout whilst we waited for our bus.
