Everything was great. Andy, Jacob and all the staff were really friendly and funny. Our room was very cozy and comfortable. Cricketers Arms is perfectly located for our dog as surrounded by countryside and walks. Pub is very dog friendly. We had the best fish and chips and everything else in the restaurant was delicious. We did have a small shower dilemma but received a very yummy compensation to make up for it😋 Thanks guys.

Very good value venue for overnight accommodation when collecting my Colleagues from Stansted Airport. Although I gathered it wasn't the responsibility of the Proprietor of the Indian Restaurant these rooms are above, I hadn't got the access codes I required through the Pre-Registration process, and ultimately he was more than happy to help. He benefitted from my Custom as well, so can also recommend the food and drink available here!

What a fantastic surprise! We booked the Cricketers last minute and, although it was late at night and rainy, we managed to find the pub where we were quickly shown to our two rooms. They were both warm and welcoming, with every amenity you could want. My grown daughter was thrilled with her room which was designed with a bit of pink. Ours was a bit more woodland themed and very serene. The bathrooms were top notch and mine was perfectly handicapped accessible. I have limited mobility so I could take a shower without risks. The breakfast was amazing with food cooked to order and many other delicious options. The entire complex is perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer. Nearby market town was SO fascinating for shopping and food!

After a long drive from Oxford, we enjoyed a drink outside looking across the cricket fields, followed by a beautiful dinner (well worth the drive). The staff were friendly and happy to chat.

The dinner the night before was excellent, as was the service. At midnight, we were able to get a choice of snacks to take up to our room. Above all, the staff. We felt well looked after from the moment we started checking in, both times. Two things most other hotels in my experience get wrong and this one got right - good lighting for reading in bed and enough sockets in the room for two people with laptops, phone chargers, etc.
