Very friendly and helpfull innkeepers
The food was excellent, lovely breakfast served by an open log fire. We had an exceptional dinner, prepared by Bart and his wonderful wife. A truly fantastic experience. Great little swimming pool, lovely countryside, peaceful, exciting and totally relaxing. Just what was needed.
The owners are on the front desk. They couldn't be friendlier and more welcome. They are delighted to tell you best things to see, where to eat and drink etc. Breakfast is cooked for you in the smart kitchen adjoining the dinning area. The hotel was destroyed in WW1 and rebuilt in the same style. Parking nearby. One block away from the main square and close to Menin gate.
All excellent. Especially being taxied to their partner hotel for dinner as no restaurant available at the hinterland
Lovely property with secure parking and 3 nice bedrooms/bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for us to relax when eating in. We’d love to stay here again when we visit. The owners are lovely people and were always quick to reply to any questions we had. Great location to explore the area and walk to dinner.
Excellent dinner at reasonable set price
Location is very good to go to Eurotunnel. Has a nice restaurant offering dinner and very good breakfast. Rooms are very clean.
We loved the room. We felt like at home. Very cozy and charming. Very clean. Madame Valerie, the owner, was super available and kind, also in giving us advice about what to see. The breakfast was excellent. The dinner at the restaurant downstairs was exquisite.
I stayed for work and had made a reservation for the smallest room. Not big, but very nice interieur and with all facilities in place. Dinner was pricewise very good and the room was exceptional cheap in my opinion. Parking in front of the hotel.
Right location, very near A16. Ideal for beginning/end of UK journey. Free car park room fine for price structure.
