Our room was ideal for 1adult & 2 kids, kept clean and restocked everyday. Quite neighbours. We are in local deli's and bakeries to watch the real NYC. F line subway a few minutes walk gave easy connections to uptown, JFK airport and Brooklyn.

Location was great for us, it was quiet, 2 mins walk from pier 17, an amazing view of Brooklyn bridge. And not far to walk to Tribeca area, dumbo and ground zero. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was made every day with fresh towels and very clean. Tv in room with great channels.

It had all the facilities you would need for your stay: a king-size bed, washing and drying machines, full kitchen supplies, shampoo and soap, an iron, towels, coffee and tea, a TV, and Wi-Fi. Everything was clean and super cool. 2. Location is very good, close to the subway stations and One World Trade Centre, ~20minutes away from Brooklyn Bridge. 3. Rooftop looks very nice, especially in the evening. I would love to come back!

The subway system is easy to navigate, very close to get to many attractions and within walking distance from Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty etc. Food: there are more than enough street stands for breakfast, and restaurants for anything you want. Id recomment popping in to Route 66 for tabletop games and a great beer. Breakfast - basic but sufficient. Surprisingly bacon was amazing, compared to other hotels. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge just to turn round and walk back to catch great views of the NY skyline
One of the best walks is to do the High line which starts at The Standard Hotel. The Downtown bus tour is also excellent and you can hop on and off at your leisure to see many of the best spots. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes and cruising round Central Park. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge just to turn round and walk back to catch great views of the NY skyline.
