the whole place is amazing, the breakfast too.. we didnt have time to use the pool or jacuzzi but they were beautiful. everything was extrémely clean

We offer classes and programs in yoga, meditation, healing arts & metaphysical studies, horticulture & culture, and dance & movement therapies. Our historic compound, originally built in 1910, has been extensively renovated and carefully redesigned to meet the growing needs of individuals and groups seeking alternative and experiential learning. Guest rooms and suites are offered for community students and island visitors seeking overnight accommodations while on retreat. Overnight lodgers must enroll in Lumeria’s daily classes or be part of a focused retreat group. Lumeria’s onsite restaurant, The Wooden Crate, serves farm-to-table nourishing and delicious meals to students, retreats, community patrons and visitors, and The Wellness Spa at Lumeria offers bodywork, massage and healing arts therapies and private lessons.
A saltwater pool and hot tub are available for guest relaxation. A sun terrace with lounge chairs is provided. Golfing and swimming beaches are located within 5 km.

The staff member John was very helpful. He introduced the property and some nice restaurants in Paia to us. When I needed some ice to treat my injury because I accidentally hit the trunk lid, he helped us right away. We really appreciate his kind assistance. The breakfast was also pretty good!

Although it is a dorm arrangement you have private bedroom and shared bathroom, restroom , full kitchen, sitting areas and outdoor space. My room also had a fridge. The bedroom is very simply furnished but perfectly comfortable. Owners are very responsive to text questions and helpful. The salt water pool, the grounds, the breakfasts, the quiet. It was perfect. And it was also a good location with proximity to Haleakala entrance. It was nice to see upcountry Maui, which might actually be my favorite part.

Very comfortable bed, fluffy towels and freshly smelling linen. Facilities a bit outdated but very clean. Nice that one of the owners came and had a chat with folks on the day we left, very pleasant and nice man.
