This is our 4th time in Costa Rica and this is the best hotel we ever stayed at. It is a beautiful, modern, spotless hotel walking distance to the beach. You can't beat the location. The pool is half-olympic size, amazing! The rooms are huge, with comfy beds. the bathroom is the biggest (and cleanest:) I have found in Costa Rica. The modern kitchen really helps when you dont feel like going out. We will definitely be back next year .

Set in Playa Flamingo, 300 metres from Potrero Beach, Hotel Tabasco offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a casino and barbecue facilities. Amazing host. They prepared the breakfast so nicely.

Set in Sámara and with Samara Beach reachable within a few steps, Beach Front Bahia offers concierge services, rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. Clean rooms, great beach, walking distance to Samara center (but not thaaat close...), great staff, and the food in the restaurant is awesome - get the seafood pasta!

Situated in Playa Grande, 200 metres from Grande Beach, ONDA - Playa Grande - Adults Only features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Amazing location, beautiful amenities and the friendliest staff ever. Loved the free breakfast option and the family dinner they offered for such a reasonable price.

Situated in Playa Guiones, 1 km from Guiones Beach, The White Palms of Nosara features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Its comfort its architecture moreover it was quiet , no constant music in the background like unfortunately in many places . It feels just wonderful to be able to listen to the jungle sounds and this should be more celebrated ;) All staff was also very professional and helpful . We also liked meeting the big hotel pet: the well fed iguana !

Located in Tamarindo, 600 metres from Tamarindo Beach, Hotel Elixir provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Really great place to stay, spacious rooms, very clean, good air-con, really nice breakfast and lovely staff. It’s located very centrally but not loud at all as it’s up a smaller side road. The cleaner also comes once a day and does a really good job! Would defiantly recommend staying when in Tamarindo (: there is also a really nice pizza place next door called the bake yard, good price good vibe and very easy being next door!

Situated in Playa Avellana, 2 km from Avellanas Beach, Finca Avellanas features accommodation with a garden and free private parking. This place is definitely to rest and recharge. The A.C. in the room was awesome and the beds out of this world; king size and super comfy. The pool is also refreshing and Daniela the girl that tour us the place is very sweet. However, if you are looking for luxury and resort like activities, this is not the place for you, but for people that are looking for a place to be in peace and comfortable this is it.

Situated in Sámara, 1 km from Samara Beach, Tuki Tuki Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and room service for guests. You will immediately feel at home at Tuki Tuki Lodge thanks to the wonderful and very kind hosts and owners J.P. and Flori. J.P. enjoys giving an intro to town for new guests with his very own TukTuk, a fun way to explore Sámara for the first time! Rooms are big and in excellent shape with fan and A/C, fridge and microwave oven, Smart TV and good WiFi. Bed very comfortable, very nice bathroom and everything super clean! The lodge is a bit outside of town but no problem with a bicycle, scooter or the like. Next supermarket, 10min walk. There is also a pool and a bar/restaurant on the property. On weekends the bar / restaurant usually features some live music and fills with expats and locals. For us (married couple) Tuki Tuki was seriously among our top 2 hotel experiences during our 6 week stint in Cost Rica. We would certainly love to return anytime.

Situated in Playa Avellana, 500 metres from Avellanas Beach, SoulShine features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Guests can make use of a bar.... Very chic property, with incredible food for breakfast and lunch — homemade bread and tapas and salads. a large lovely swimming pool with shaded lounge chairs, and just a ten minute walk to the beach, over a mangrove.

Located in Tamarindo, Hotel Casa Carlota Tamarindo features a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
