Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe staff at the reception counter (the evening rota, not the daytime) were standoffish and a little rude.
The facilities are modern and clean, location is quiet and convenient, the breakfast was very impressive.

LatviaThe air conditioning could have been working better, otherwise, ok. You can also open windows if it is not too hot outside.
The room was nice, the best option for its price, the size is ok, totally enough for two people. Clean room, cleaning every day, location was nice near amusement park, and metro stations is very close

ItalyThe price of the breakfast is high for those that only take a coffee. In this case, better to avoid it
The room was clean and spacious. Very well organized. Close to the metro station and to the Prater. Perfect for a stay to visit the city leaving the car in the silos just a couple of stations of distance.

RomaniaSometimes the Miracast for the TV phone mirroring would glitch and you couldn't use it for a while, wasn't a big issue for us though because we didn't stay that much in the hotel room
Been here with my wife for a couple city break and we were really happy with choosing this hotel for our stay. The staff is very helpful and nice, starting from the reception, the kitchen staff and the housekeepers. The hotel offers you a lot of perks and facilities, like coffee maker, water boiler for tea, TV with phone casting and glass water bottle and a water fountain downstairs. For us the location was perfect, easy to arrive from the airport by train, close to the subway and close to the Prater Amusement Park. Great value for money

United KingdomBreakfast was good but limited range of food. The location next to the University is quiet (which is good) but you need to take the metro to get to the historic part of town.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast staff seemed stern at first but actually very nice and friendly when you talk to them . Easy to get to the metro (though took a while to understand the system). The safe is easy to use and the WiFi doesn't need a code to log on.

RomaniaRoom cleanup was bad, they did not bring new toilet paper or clean towels for 4 days, I had to ask for them at the reception. Some part of the staff seem to be bothered by your presence at times for no apparent reason.
Good location, clean and comfortable rooms, very nice garage parking although a bit pricey (20-25 eur / night). Free and quality tap water in the reception, nice terrace.

United KingdomNothing, it was all excellent.
Room was a really great size, really spacious. We booked a room for 3 adults, but it was basically like a suite with a large double in one room and then a sofa bed in the room but with a partial partition wall. A large bathroom with a toilet and a separate toilet too. Really great accommodation. Very clean and modern with nice decor. Really great transport links too.

TurkeyI'd love to see the original Wiener Schnitzel on the restaurant menu. It's as essential as not offering fish and chips in London or kebab in Istanbul.
The location is fantastic, only about 300m from the Messe Prater metro station, which seamlessly connects to the entire U-Bahn network. The staff is friendly and eager to assist, ensuring a hassle-free stay all around.

QatarBathroom amenities could be better - towels are thin and flimsy and hair conditioner would be appreciated (saying this, the shower gel and shampoo smelt so good and fresh)
Modern, clean and contemporary feel. Very spacious with comfortable bed and pillows. Great bathroom. Adequate gym and the lobby smelt amazing! Friendly staff (shout out the young friendly brunette at the front desk who was always so smiley, helpful and positive). The hotel isn’t in central Vienna city but if you enjoy a walk like we do, it’s around 30 minutes a long the gorgeous river canal.

United KingdomDoors didn’t feel too secure as there was no way of locking from the inside. Person with coffee went around in morning and knocked and then opened our door when a knock would have been enough.
The rooms were really cute and the lobby area was nice to sit in the evening. The subway station was also close.
