Floor in the bathroom was wet, No place to hang a towel near the vanity. Shower was overhead only. The TV antenna cable was exposed. Check-in was done 'old-school' with pen and paper.

We were given a key to a room that had neither been cleaned or made up, luckily we were given another room right away but this room wasn’t spotless either.

The breakfast buffet was nice, with cooked eggs, fresh fruit, bread and cereal. The location was nice and central.

Hotel seems to be an old building, there's hardly any decoration. This is not a hotel where you want to spend any time: you check in, leave your luggage in the room, go explore Salzburg, then come back only to shower and sleep.

Hotel is fairly well-located, just a 5 minute walk from the main train station. That is super convenient. The hotel is located in a quiet street, so there's no noise. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was fairly large.

The showers took a very long time to get warm and the drain was blocked. The smoking are was right outside our window so we couldn't keep it open

We were used to having a buffet breakfast with our hotels. So when we saw the buffet breakfast off the lobby we assumed such. We ended up paying 20 euros a piece for a substandard buffet breakfast. No one was attending to let us know about this charge. Then, we were charged a sales tax, 6 euros. The other Booking.com hotel in Vienna included this, as I assumed it was supposed to. So, all in all, I would have chosen a different hotel, in a slightly better location to the old city, for the 46 more euros. Even with all the pluses for this hotel such as kind, friendly staff and clean facilities, I would not stay again.

The wifi was very slow. The room in which we stayed had a weird layout that meant you had to sit sideways on the toilet to avoid hitting your knees on the sink bench and we were short people.

Great location.. The 22 bus was right outside the door to take us to old town which can also be walked to. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had air con. Quick walk from the main Salzburg station.

I tried to take a shower at night and the water was cold until I finish bathing. Beds were not comfortable.

Unfortunatelly, the room was not very clean. There was hair on the floor, the sink had stains, the towels were randomly folded and made me think that maybe they were already used.

Towels - like sandpaper - need new and softer ones. These feel like they have been used for years and have nothing left to give. Breakfast - sometimes no milk, no glasses for juice, no bread - but when I asked, they brought what I needed...just annoying to be asking every day. Also not much variety, but what was available was OK.

Location - less than 10 mins walk from the train/Bus station - ideal if you are coming from the airport or public transport. Also a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the old town/across the bridge.

Breakfast was awful. Stayed there 2 nights. Breakfast is very lousy not much choice. The first morning we went down for breakfast, there was no cups, no bread, a lot of things were missing. We asked the boy working there and he wasnt of much help. Second morning we went down for breakfast at 7:30 because we had to catch the train at 8:10 and all the lights were off, no one was doing breakfast and no one was at the reception!!! Even though the hotel is supposed to be 24/7. When I had messaged the property just before arriving in Austria i was told that breakfast was served every morning from 7:00-10:30. It was a disgrace that we paid for breakfast and the breakfast was not even served that morning. We could not wait around and complain to the receptionist (who was not present that morning) as we would have missed our train. When i messaged the property later on about the situation they were rather abrupt and of no help. I would not stay here again. Receptionists were very rude and blunt to us the whole stay.

There was a coffee machine by reception but not clear when/if I could use it. (One member of staff made me coffee on arrival, but when I asked the next afternoon they said the coffee machine was "closed" and there was no other way to get coffee in the hotel). There was also what looked like a day's worth of dirty mugs piled up next to said coffee machine which was a bit off-putting.

The door at our room opens directly in the bedroom facing the bed. Very creepy, when the cleaning lady tried to enter 2 times in the morning, even it was check-out day. The entry is between the bedroom and the bathroom, but you need to cross the whole bedroom to reach it. Very strange choice of colors for the room.

The location is very close to the centre.

The bathroom grouting had mould in it. The breakfast had limited selection and low quality of food.
