It comes with staying in an older building, but the carpets and curtains could use a steam clean. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and had to leave the door and windows open when possible... but for most people it probably wouldn't be an issue.

I love the "old charm" of the building and the friendly staff. The location was perfect- we did a lot of walking around the town/ waterfront and it's nice and close to everything. The coffee is also really good!

Excellent beautiful room. Small fridge with water. TV, excellent shower/ water pressure. A simply elegant calm place in a great location. Now if only they can convince the train to stop running at 10 pm. That's out of the hotel's control. 😊

The cleanliness of the entrance, front porch, lobby and stairways. The front desk and the things on it as well as the other furnishings in that area had not been dusted in weeks- not a good first impression . The rooms were thankfully much better

My partner was disturbed during the night by the freight trains crossing the viaduct very near the hotel, which seems to be an hourly event, but I was not bothered by them. Other reviewers have commented on this and so if you are a very light sleeper this might not be the best place to stay. If you love trains it is a perfect place to stay!

Our host was very welcoming and the room was a decent size for a hotel so close to the centre of town. Everything was well-maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a jacuzzi bath in the corner of the room in addition to the en-suite shower/WC room.

Advertised and paid for breakfast but there was no breakfast. Price was pretty expensive given no breakfast and is right beside the railway tracks and there are a lot of trains going by. Otherwise place is central and owner is really nice. Place is really clean.

Overall our stay was great, the only thing was that there were loud trains that passed by the Inn. I didn't hear it but it woke my boyfriend up at night.

The room was clean and very large. The bed was comfortable and the entire Inn had a very home-y feel to it. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking. I had to park on road because other cars spaced to far apart so could not fit even tho enough space there.

The only problem was a very rude awakening at 04:00 a.m. as a train thundered through town. We are from further north and certainly not use to this awakening. That was the only blemish on a very good visit

no bedside table on one side of bed. no charging outlets. no towel hook in reach of shower. very noisy AC. very expensive for what you get. these are low cost, easy fixes. no excuse not to have them.

clean. new bathroom. comfortable bed. quiet. seems to be the best place in the general area.
