Couldn't figure out how to work the fireplace

Very large room with balcony and assume views of the ocean coming in to the small bay. and hitting the rocks. Beautiful sounds enjoyed for peaceful sleeping.

Under counter lighting in the kitchenette was missing a bulb. Toilet paper holder was broken allowing paper to fall off. Make up mirror location on bathroom counter was too le to be functional and lighting too little. Uncomfortable seating on the balcony. No toilet brush provided for cleaning toilet bowl.

The view from our balcony was fabulous. On 1 day we were treated to an eagle landing in a tree. The kitchenette was handy for breakfast. Bathrobes , flashlight for emergency preparedness, full length mirror. The security box was appreciated although location below knee level made setting a security code difficult.

Soundproofing wasn’t great - we could hear the room next to us talking very loudly, and the people above walking around.

The bed was super comfortable, spacious room, great views (we paid for a partial view), the bathroom was lovely. Front desk staff were great, loved the cookies! Short walk into Ucluelet.

The bedroom was too hot. We would have slept much better if there had been a screen on the window. We had to use the fan but it was too noisy and too windy even on low. Guests should be instructed not to bring 8 week old puppies. The first night there, there was one on the patio with a large family gathering and it proceeded to have a huge poop right beside our table. Who brings an untrained, young puppy to a beautiful resort? Maybe something like "Well mannered, trained dogs welcome" We were very happy to find a resort such as the Black Rock Oceanside Resort that allows dogs so we would like to see that opportunity remain. Our small dog loved it and we loved having her with us.

The room was lovely. Big unit with kitchenette, separate bedroom and large bathroom. Loved the big windows and view. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

Room was quick warm, balcony separator was broken and just laying on floor of balcony, and guests above us stomped for hours each night.

Not that I didn’t like the property but it would have been enhanced if they had a smart tv. Only for on an evening. But that’s me being extremely picky,

The location is breathtaking and the room was outstanding. The views, facilities and cleanliness were amazing. I would recommend it to anyone.

The lighting. May sound silly, but it was super dark in the room, even with all the lights turned on. Same in the bathroom. No chance to do a proper make up or something like this. The noise. The fridge was super loud and it's not far from the bed. We woke up because of it several times. The ventilation in the bathroom always switched itself on and was super annoying. Wouldn't book the same room, but definitely would come again.

Great location, near Pacific Rim. Right in front of the ocean. The view! Nice gym. One of the best and comfiest beds I've ever slept in. The room had everything we needed, even underfloor heating in the bathroom and a kitchenette.

The rooms look quite run down at this point, dish washer didn’t close properly and fridge door kept hanging off. Some more decor could really liven up the rooms
