Good, clean room with a truly awesome view of the gorge. The guesthouse is family run and the owner and his son were both very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on our hiking itinerary, which we weren't totally sure of before arriving. The guesthouse provided all the shuttling services we needed for a reasonable price, dropping us off in the morning at tea-horse guest house and picking us up after we climbed out of the middle gorge scenic area. In addition we were able to pay to get a ride directly to Shangri-La, saving us a lot of trouble and time. The food served was quite tasty too!

Cooking may take a while as there's limited staff available. That being said everything tasted good, especially breakfast!

Clean, comfortable and quiet room located in a very convenient part of the Shangri-La old town. The owner was exceptionally friendly and hospitable towards us throughout our stay, giving us tons of advice on what to do, where to eat etc. She even went as far as to help us call a backup Didi ride when we were rushing to the station to catch a train to Dali. Breakfast was quite tasty and had both Chinese and western options available. We had a great time staying here!

The historic courtyard was beautiful and in a relatively quiet spot, and the room was quite comfortable with very modern restroom facilities. The owner was also very hospitable, helping us carry luggage up the stairs and also connected us to a driver to get to our next hotel in Lijiang. Breakfast was tasty and had quite a few options available, we particularly liked the rice noodles.

Although the location is quiet, the sound-proofing of the rooms is not perfect and we were woken up in the morning (6-7 AM) by loud noises from other people in the area sometimes. If you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in, ear-plugs would be a good idea.

I started booking for a day, but later extended my stay. The rooftop is a scenic platform, and the inn is fully equipped with parking spaces, breakfast, and a washing machine. The inn is also large, and the staff is very good. The little sister is very enthusiastic and always asks for help. It is worth recommending and receiving positive feedback!

Our room was modern, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel staff was prompt and helpful and the facilities were easy to make use. The location in the French Concession is also great, a very walkable part of Shanghai with beautiful architecture all around. Breakfast was a little bit pricey but had many options and was overall very tasty.

The overall location of the hotel in the French Concession is great, but it is a bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) to the nearest metro station. Be prepared to DiDi/taxi a lot if you stay here!

The location is very convenient. Just a short walk to reach the old town. The staff were all nice. They picked us up from the train station for free, help carrying our luggages in & out, cooked for us when we wanted to leave very early.
