Josee Marie is a wonderful woman and artist. You feel it in every corner of her house. Though the house is very old,it is soulful and has everything you need. Don't expect a brand new space. You come here for mountain views, quiet nature,pure river, singing birds and no phone connection. Hope to come back to lovely La Villard

It was a bit cold. The electric heater burns the oxygen, so maybe kind of humidifier would be good to have too.

We loved the location in the old town right next to the cathedral. The apartment was spacious and full of light. Very nicely decorated throughout and clean. It was quiet at night with only a little noise from the stairwell we think. Great value for money.

The beds were not comfortable and were noisy every time you moved. Possibly both fold out beds, the one in the attic seemed to be anyway. Bed sheets very hot.

Luxury villa with pool on the edge of Montignac

This is a beautiful villa, in a perfect location. Very handy for Montignac, which is a charming French town. The pool is fantastic. Sophie & Toby, the owners of the property, were charming & very helpful.

We didn’t read the information properly before booking so this is our fault, but we didn’t realise there was no restaurant. After a full days’ driving we were looking forward to a nice meal but this hotel does not have this facility.

The aircon seems not working, its hot inside the room. The receptionist is too serious, doesnt bother to smile. The other bed is not complete, and you will be the one to put the sheets in the bed.
