nothing ! this place needs to be SHUT DOWN! IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE PICTURES . this place is ran by afro latino so i thought it would be the perfect place - la familia -. BUT IT WAS NOT! the restroom looks like a prison cell . the restroom has no mirror . it looks like the hurricane molded the place out and they have yet to renovate since the hurricane

It provided curtains for each bed and a locker for each guest so you get a bit of privacy and security in the shared dormitories. Also, air-conditioning. It was walking distance to Old San Juan and to the beaches. Toilets and showers were plenty and were cleaned nicely. Shared work space was large and roomy, with free coffee and tea.

It could be noisy outside at night. Mosquitoes but that can't be helped. At least they're not inside the dorm rooms.

The location of the apartment is great. It is walking distance of Isla Verde Beach, about 5 minutes. There’s also a good variety of restaurants and stores near by (Tavo Bell, Burger King, a pharmacy etc.)The Apartment was overall very clean. The apartment offers a personal one space parking next to the building. My family enjoyed the pool!

We stayed 5 nights and would have liked to have room service, mainly for the trash and restock on toiletries.

Host allowed us to check in early. Very nicely laid out, with excellent kitchen and living room areas. Very close to El Yunque National Forest. An AC unit in each bedroom kept them nice and cool. Nice view of the neighborhood from the wrap-around balcony. Good restaurants close by.

There are fans in the living room and kitchen nook, but they don't really cool the areas down much. Not at all a complaint, but customers should be aware that they'll have to climb quite a few stairs to reach the second floor, where the living quarters are.

The hostel is located walking distance to the forts, the shopping and dining in old San Juan. The staff is friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler I felt safe, the set of the bathroom is convenient and clean throughout the day.

The hosts were lovely, they were attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to help us. The property is no frills, but clean and private, and we just needed a place near the resort to stay for a few nights and this worked well.

Good AC. Plenty of tableware. Nice fridge. Good lighting. Bed a bit soft, but quite comfortable. We didn't use them, but everything is there for grilling on the patio.

A toaster would have been nice. Bedroom was too small for the bed, which was wedged next to wall. Odd odor coming from bathroom.

The place was DIRTY!!! The shower was very dirty!! There were two mugs (no cups) in the room and the mugs were for sure not washed. Really disgusting. The beach in front of the house had lots and lots of trash - not pleasant at all! The yard also needs good care. I was happy that I only booked for a night because I could not stay any longer. Can't recommend this place, even with the sound of the waves, it was not worth it!
