We were blown away by this property - it’s really beautiful! The building has been renovated & furnished beautifully, the owner & staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and its position along the Douro River is stunning! Wow …. the wines and food were absolutely DELICIOUS - the chef is top class! We’ve fallen in love with this spot and will be back (all the way from South Africa)!

We loved everything! If there was a slight negative it would have to be that the “bathroom” is very small and that the basin is in the bedroom but it certainly didn’t detract from our stay!

We liked absolutely everything about Casa d’Acha! Inside we felt few centuries back but with a gorgeous modern touch. Beautifully restored house and delightfully decorated made us feel like in five stars hotel. The staff English speaking was naturally friendly and helpful!

Elisabete is the best host ! So caring and warm. Breakfast was so much we had enough left over for packed lunch on our camino. She gave us tips and info on the next stretch too. Pizza place was good so nearby . We bought back and ate in her dining room

What a beautiful location and comfortable room. The view of the Atlantic are awesome. Nearby to great restaurants and beach. Would definitely stay here again. The place is run by very nice people who provide a very nice breakfast!

Nice location, slightly out of town centre - about 20min walk and 5min by car to Vila Do Porto, but also about 15min by car towards the north coast. Nice view from the room, very friendly staff

Room and sheets are clean enough, but bed is super shaking when I climb the upper bed. Toilet is always wet from shower room not enough amount, no soap. Staff old man are rude, I wanted deposit my bag but he just rejected he didn’t even listen and say check in time is 2pm. But lady was ok. She helped me luggage with smile. But overall I don’t recommend anyone.
