This is THE place to stay in Tomar! Sonja, the proprietor, is simply amazing-very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the city and the castle-a breathtaking view, especially when the castle is lit up at night. The breakfast was a FULL breakfast made-to-order eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses, cereal, fresh orange juice. Would we stay here again-absolutely!

Hotel is very clean. Rooms are very clean but tiny. Breakfast was great, and snacks and cool drinks in the lobby area is a treat. We got to the hotel about 3 hours before check-in time, and they allowed us to leave our bags and go out to get something to eat.

It would have been nice to have an iron and ironing board. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, mattress was too firm. It would have been nice to have more access to the Lounge, especially at nights just to relax a bit before bed.

The location was perfect and centrally located for walking. So close to the Praca do Comercio and transit stops (metro, tram, bus). Safe and welcoming. Great shower. Highly recommend.
