Positive section of review
The apartment is comfortable and clean, easy to get from the bus stop and from the nearest metro stop it is about 10-15 minutes to walk, in quiet surroundings. Near the airport which was important for us, and a nice walk to the Atlantic with a nice view and a sandy beach. The equipment in the apartment was perfect, you have all you need with water, coffee and tea for guests. Very good contact with the host by mail and phone, there is a code for the entrance. Thank you for your hospitality, I will be back in the future!

Excellent accommodation around 13 km from Furnas. The house itself was so cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast, you could eat outside on the small patio with a fantastic view of the mountains and landscape. All staff were amiable and super helpful with everything we asked about. The cutest dog Lajka always welcomed us at the front gate.

As advertised, it is on the 3rd floor so if you have heavy luggage it might be a bit of a problem.

Perfect location- walking distance to everything. Rooms were tidy and beds comfy.

Keys/lock were extremely annoying to use to open the doors, having a scan key would be way more efficient. More information could have been given around the private external bathroom as we were unsure if others were using it as it wasn’t directly next to our room. Found a couple of spiders in the beds

The apartment is in a rougher part of the city and quite far away from tourist attractions. It is located up a dark hill just off of a square where we saw unsociable behaviour. Not ideal for a couple walking home at night.

No light switches in the room, we got a remote that controlled the light and the battery died in it. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door and it squaked extremely loudly and was stiff while we tried to open or close it. The fan in the bathroom made this horrible screaming sound for about a minute after we came back to the hotel after being out for a few hours. The showerhead holes were filled with black disgusting spots and the shower itself drained very badly. We also came back to the room one day and the maid had changed our sheets, and there were 3 brown spots at the top of the sheets tucked under the pillow, she probably didn't see it but it was quite strange to come back to our room and see brown spots on the sheets at a supposed 5 star hotel Also lots of water damage in the walls. Conventional breakfast items were very bad, scrambled eggs were slimy, the small hotdogs were made out of a mushy meat pudding that you could chew with your tongue, boiled vegetables and mushrooms with zero spice just bland and bad, there was salt and pepper available though needless to say the only breakfast that we could eat there was bread with ham and cheese, and fruit.

I asked the reception to book a taxi for 04:15 ( 1 adult ) & was told it would cost €19 & that I would have have to cash immediately before the taxi arrived. Most insulting as I have stayed on 4 occasions this year. It doesn't cost that amount to get to the airport !
