I was in Johannesburg for a week for work. The location was perfect and to come "home" to the hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff, the comfort, the breakfast and the overall outside area ( where I worked in the mornings) were wonderful. All the different restaurants at the casino on my doorstep was a bonus.

Everything was great in terms of hospitality. All the staff were nice and friendly without exception. The place is very wonderful, clean, and extremely quiet. It's far from the city. We enjoyed our trip a lot, and it was lucky for us to see most of the animals.

The noise coming from the dining area when people are talking is heard clearly when in Room 12. The smell of cooking from the kitchen below, comes to room 12 especially in the morning when frying beacon...

Initially the host was very communicative until we reminded them about our refund we were waiting for.

The unit did not have WIFI back as promised. She understood we had to book into a place with permanent WIFI and promised to refund us. This was in February 2024 and we are still waiting.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the net. It really is lower than a substandard facility. There was mold on the walls, the room did not smell fresh. I would no recommend this hotel to anyone at all, the only good thing about this place is the helpful staff. Work has to be done to improve the building, failing which a adjustment to the rates should be made to match the standard of the facility.
