Stunning views of the ocean from the room. Hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The staff helped us carry our bags and everything. Breakfast was delicious and sustainable (the omelet was huge lol). Easy access to the beach by stairs. Great location, just a few minutes drive from the casino/restaurants. The free parking provided was also great. The whole place felt very secure since it's inside a gated area. The main access door of the lodge is also locked during the night (you're provided with a key to enter after hours) which made it even more secure. 10/10 would stay here again, great value for money.

The only small complaint that I would have is that I'm not the biggest fan of open bathrooms. Our room's bathroom was completely open (except the toilet area). Thus, there's no privacy while showering or having a bath. The shower is also an open shower (no doors), so it gets a bit cold while taking a shower and water splashes everywhere. It should also be mentioned that this accommodation is probably not suitable for physically disabled individuals. You need to be able to walk up and down the stairs to stay here. The lodge's staff will help you with your bags though, so do not worry about having to carry your baggage up and down by yourself.

I absolutely loved the decor and the ambiance was incredible, creating a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. With beautiful ocean views and spacious bedrooms, it’s easy to feel relaxed here. The food was absolutely divine, a true highlight of our stay. Special thanks to Zuki for providing such incredible service—she really made our experience memorable. Highly recommend Ivory Haus for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway!

During my stay at Ivory Haus, I encountered an issue where in two instances promises initially made by the agents were later revoked or agreed requests seemed to be ignored at cost to me, deeming them as mistakes without apology. This led to some confusion and discomfort as attempts were made to persuade me to accept these changes, which I found quite unsettling. However Management did rectify once I had brought it to their attention. It seems there might be a disconnect in communication between the staff and management, and I hope this feedback will help improve clarity and consistency for future guests. Despite this, the overall experience offered wonderful elements worth noting.

The reception staff were really helpful in getting my friend to phone me when I experienced difficulties. Loved the safety aspect that I could catch a train from the airport and only have a minute's walk to the hotel. My 05:30 wake up call was dead on time. Colour Tv and Fridge.

I treasure the way the staff makes me feel. They truely make a person feel at home with their warmth and kindness. Remembering all the small details, from how I like my coffee, to what I prefer for breakfast.

The only thing that I'm not thrilled about us that the is no designated smoking area. Especially early hours of late at night. It's not nice having to stand outside the establishment, to have a cigarette or Vuse. To be fair though, most establishments have the same policy. 😁

Everything, especially the host. They made me pay an extra R300 on top of my paid booking simply because I checked in after 7pm. The rules of the apartment were too difficult and challenging and made our stay very uncomfortable, to mention just one. It is stipulated in their policy that if you break anything you will be required to pay an amount of R1000. This is not even stated in the Bookings website, information such as these is sent by the host after your booking is confirmed🤦🏾♂️ In the morning when before check out, the host had already sent someone, the person stood at door from when we were still bathing to when we packed up, until we left. It was so uncomfortable it felt like a punishment!! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!!!
