The place really is cute. I loved that it was spacious and felt so much like home. And close to amenities. Staff was super friendly and helpful even the security. I loved that you can cook your own Meals there and it had Netflix and that cosy atmosphere... And the view was the highlight for me...

Definitely a need more concentration on cleanliness. During our stay we came across a few cockroaches and the was sugar spills on the fridge. Maybe between every stay the staff to make sure the place is spotless clean as that was quite a turn off. Also didn't have space for my clothes. Maybe have a rail at least. Can be placed next to the bed.

Ronnie was welcoming & very helpful. ( he assisted with carrying our luggage in and turned the communal freezer on). Light over the parking & code for the remote gate convenient for early getaway. Location great close to KNP. Lovely fresh soft towels & linen.

Steps down to the unit from parking made it awkward for pensioners . No window in our unit to open in the sliding doors made us feel claustrophobic....but fortunately, they had a ceiling fan. Freezer on the unit fridge very small but fortunately Ronnie plugged the communal freezer on. Bright security lights shone into our room i suggest block out curtains

- Staff was very friendly and helpful - Good Coffee and Breakfast was nice - Beds where cozy and room was air-conditioned - Great selections of fruit, jams, and breads

Room: - Birds in the Roof (ceiling) lots of noise and scratching - Smell in the bathroom (possibly dead animal) - Tiles and flooring in rooms were not level and cracked - Shower heads were clogged - No plates or bowls, just empty cupboards - Some foods and produce was not checked and was about to expire or starting to go bad (taste and in smell) Breakfast: - No chicken substitute for beef or pork - Crossaints weren't fresh or just very dry Basically is management even checking this are maintained and looked after. Because the price you pay and what you get is not the greatest. Would rather stay at different Protea Hotel. Standards are down the drain.

The hotel had a free shuttle service between the airport and hotel. This was a great benefit and the driver was very friendly.

The shower was not the best. Shower head settings was off and it was difficult to get it right. The room door didn't lock from the outside for some reason. Had to call reception and eventually go down to get someone to have it fixed.
