Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI would have liked different restaurant hours- coming from very distant time zones, appetites vary greatly. Even a sandwich snack service would be a great asset.
Although this property is a short shuttle ride from the actual beach, their manmade beach and massive pool negate the need for the salt water in your eyes! Vibrant atmosphere and plentiful staff/amenities in the pool area as well . . . plenty of activities to enjoy or even watch. Rooms are very spacious and fairly modern, while food selections in the restaurants was great too. Just a 5 minute walk from SOHO Square, which is worth several visits!

TurkeyUnfortunately, you are making us sad, even though we had an all-inclusive reservation, you asked for an extra $50 per day for alcohol:( You gave a discount coupon and said you could use it anywhere, including the room extra, but I couldn't use it during checkout. They said it was necessary to inform us about the discount coupon in advance when the order was placed, you did not inform us about this, we left with a bit of sadness. Other than that, the attention of the staff, the food was great, of course, thank you very much for everything.

EgyptThis is very much personal preference but the pillows were so soft, I would prefer firmer ones. The food in the main restaurant was quite expensive (we were not all inclusive) Again this is due to personal circumstances with many options not meeting dietary requirements. The staff in all restaurants were very accommodating though and all food we had at the hotel was lovely.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All staff members greeted us whenever we saw them and all offered assistance if required. The hotel weas very clean. The staff in the restaurants were very helpful and assisted us with altering menus to suit our dietary needs. The room was spacious and very well cleaned each day. The hotel has a clear system for changing towels and bedding. The bathroom was particularly nice with a bath and separate shower. This is the only hotel I have been to recently that hasn't flooded when you have a shower. The water was hot and didn't lose pressure. The terrace area (as we had ground floor) had comfy seats and it was lovely to sit out. We didn't go into the pool but there was a heated section and activities provided each day. Breakfast was excellent and varied for all tastes. The beach area is nice and has a cafe /bar with drinks available and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel (although it isn't far).

United KingdomThe whole resort needs freshly decorating/a small refurb to make it look fresh and clean again.
We had a lovely stay at the Hilton I. Sharks bay. Our primary aim of the trip was to do lots of diving. So we chose this resort because it is home to Sinai Dive club. We highly recommend SDC for diving excursions and training. They are located a 5 minute walk from the hotel reception (but still in the Hilton resort) The room was very spacious and had lots of cupboard space which came in handy for all our diving kit. It was also located on the ground floor and had its own patio space with chairs which made drying wet kit easy. The bed in the room was very big and comfy (although the pillows were a bit too soft for our liking, others may prefer this). We also enjoyed the different shapes that were made out of towels each day by housekeeping. If being critical of the rooms the only thing negative is that they are due a small redirection/refurbishment to make them fresh again. Some fresh paint and furnishings would have made it shine. The hotel resort itself is massive. The north site (the resort is split into 2 between the main road) has 3 swimming pools which span 300m at least; they are huge! The northern most swimming is for adults only which is nice if you are staying without children. The pool has a mostly quiet vibe but be aware that the ground keepers and gardeners work hard each day to keep the grass and flowers tidy so expect the sound of lawnmowers in the morning. The other criticism about the pool is the choice of music which can be repetitive and loud and mostly 90s pop music. But overall this did not ruin our stay. We went for all inclusive which did also include some alcoholic beverages. Be aware that they serve drinks in small measure, approx half pints and small shots/mixers. The alcoholic content seemed quite weak for both spirits and beer but we are not big drinkers so this didn’t bother us.

NetherlandsThe hotel area had a limited selection of quality restaurants, which was disappointing. Although the breakfast offered a variety of options, the overall quality left much to be desired. Additionally, the prices for the hotel's taxi service were exorbitantly high, often double the local rates. Furthermore, the hotel's sustainability claims fell short of expectations. There was significant food waste after breakfast, with no apparent effort to repurpose or reuse it. Inconsistencies in their sustainability practices were evident, as styrofoam packaging was observed in the pool restaurant, despite Hilton's supposed commitment to avoiding it. Single-use plastic cups were also used for breakfast juices. A single-use water bottle was provided in the hotel room. Inefficient energy usage was evident in the guest rooms, as they lacked an automatic energy-saving system when guests left the room. The toilet had a single-button flush, missing the option for a small or large flush. All of these shortcomings would have been more forgivable if not for Hilton's extensive advertising of its supposed excellent sustainability accreditations.
The hotel offered a comfortable stay with exceptionally soft and cozy beds. The overall cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel was noteworthy. Our room was impressively spacious, offering ample storage with approximately three floor-to-ceiling closets and a substantial dresser. Conveniently, the expansive pool was just a stone's throw away from our room, making it easily accessible. The breakfast selection was diverse, featuring a wide array of options, including cereals, hot dishes, salads, and a variety of fresh fruits. Furthermore, the reception staff proved to be resourceful and helpful, adding to the positive experience of our stay.

TurkeyDeepest pool of 3 pools in the resort was 1.40m. Also loud and not so nice music was playing in the pool. Swimming or just sitting near the pool is prohibited by 18.45 Not so much restaurant choices in the resort. We ate our dinner in Italian Restaurant everynight. Do not ask some foods from the bars there. They deliver the food at least 1 hour later and the food is not so nice. There were some guys those ask you to join the party on that night, they are a bit insisting. The room has a balcony but there were no ashtrays in the room.

Saudi ArabiaThe restaurant I didn’t like : 1- light was low . 2- staff who works as chefs I noticed that they don’t smile or welcome the guests. 3- cleaning I can say quite good. 4- only one type of coffee ( Nescafé ) no other selections such as cafe late , espresso and cappuccino . Room : Room light was very low .
Everything was clean, staff treatment was very good this the most important thing.
