There is no wifi , no lift in the hotel, and our room faces to main street, we suffered from noises whenever we stay in the room (even in the night and early morning). It's not a good value for money.

The nile view from our balcony is amazing, breakfast provided by hotel is tasty, and the location is exactly in the center of Aswan.

Great location with fabulous Nile Views from the front rooms. Room clean. Staff speak good English. Good breakfast with banana + chocolate pancakes, falafel and salad, yoghurt fruit and bread.

No elevator. bags need to be carried and go up stairs , even if your room in the last floor. Wi fi is not working at rooms, need to stay in the lobby to be able to use the wi fi.

The rooms next to the main road can be very noisy especially in the evening and the rooms could be made more noise proof. May be providing thick curtains and better insulating balcony doors might help for this.

The location is perfect to go out for shopping, boat ride, sightseeing, to see the sunset and the felucca boats sailing on the Nile river. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooms are designed in an old classic design and makes the stay cosy

WIFI is only in he lobby. No wifi in the room!! This is really bad IMO.

Location was great. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were big and clean. They gave us packed breakfast boxes when we need to leave really early for Abu Simbel.

One single big bed is actually the combination of two small beds, not sleep well. Water is not clear. Even No shower gel and shampoo for USD68 room. Book the car pickup from airport to hotel cost 400GPD…..

We stayed one night before our Nile cruise and the hotel offered a clean, small room with a comfortable bed. A large water bottle and cookies were in our room, which we appreciated. The staff was very courteous and professional, also very considerate allowing us to check in a little earlier since we arrived early that morning from Cairo. Next morning they prepared for us boxed breakfasts since we were leaving for a tour before the breakfast room opened. We were so surprised as to the large amount of food offered in each box: pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and snacks. My husband and I shared one and offered the other box to our tour guide as each box could easily feed two people. In all, we had a nice stay at this hotel, received lots of attention from staff and the location across the Nile River was wonderful.

The WiFi was shockingly bad. Staff said this was a temporary problem, but it was one of the reasons we chose the Philae, so disappointing

Comfortable, clean rooms with good facilities including kettle, tea, coffee, fridge. Bathrooms are fine. As with all hotels we used in Egypt, its a little tired, but that's expected post Covid. All the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful, making it a real pleasure to stay here

Personnel's friendliness was ok, most here don't speak much English, so it was hard to ask for information, plus they would provide us with too little information during check-in. Check-in took too long. No wifi available in rooms. Have to pay in cash because machine 'is down'.

We could not pay by card. The window isolation was very bad and every sound from outside could be heard making a bit harder to sleep.due to noisy street (drivers love to use the horn over there)

Staff was super friendly and kind. Room was of a good size. The guy at reception kindly boxed a breakfast for us in the early morning as we were departing to Abu Simbel around 4am.

Very small room.

Air con good once we figured it out. View of nile was stunning. Location was good, cheap drinks and water next door. Lots of lovely shops nearby.

Rooms are old and dated although it was clean. Pricing is reasonable for the great location.

Location is perfect. Can walk around all the shops and directly across the road from where the cruise ships are docked. Staff was very friendly. All of them. Great breakfast. Will also make you a plain omelette if you request it instead of the traditional boiled egg. You also get fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and a surprise small crepe freshly made with chocolate on it.
