Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Bulgaria- windows were not sealed and I could hear the 4 am call for prayer - noisy people on the floor who will talk and shout till 3 am in the corridor - smoking in the restaurant - smoking in the corridor and dropped buds, even a vomit on the carpet (they cleaned it next morning) - the day I arrived they gave me a room at the end of the corridor on the 6 floor, facing the back - a brick wall and dilapidated neighboring buildings just 10 meters away, no view (although I paid pool view), no wi-fi, the air was stale and horrible smell, small bathroom 1x 1 meter . I had to ask to be moved immediately and they did without mush fuss. n m Beware and never talk personally to "security people" in the front door. Last day we were waiting our taxi and one of the security guys asked what we are waiting. I said - our taxi. 17 May at 7 pm 5 minutes later i am waiting outside, out of nowhere a bulky guy who came out from inside approaches me and asked my name correctly?!!. How does he know? I confirmed and he said - come with me, here is the taxi. I asked if he is Omar (the guy I was waiting to come). He did not answer and asked me to go to his car. Then in the same moment our guy Omar comes with his car, right at the exact moment, luckily! They started arguments. Who knows where we would have been driven by this one. I suppose that the security is playing games with the taxi drivers and he told him my name. Be careful. I think the management has to review the "security" man integrity.

First time we got a terrible room that didnt even have hot water in the bathroom but when I complained I immediately got another room that was fantastic. Everyone was super king and helpful, the breakfast was better than any other 5star hotel, the beds were comfortable, hotel staff was super kind and helpful and made our days better with their kindness and smile. I also enjoyed the restaurant, they offer amazing food. I haven’t tried the swimming pool. I really want to emphasize that the staff in the hotel is unbelievably professional and kind and our experience was sooo amazing mainly because of them, thank you!

ThailandThere was a strong smell of cigarettes in the corridors and in one of our rooms, so we had to change. The public areas of the hotel could be cleaner, like the carpet needed a good hoover.
The food, especially the breakfast, was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage.

United KingdomBe careful with the scam at reception. There is a counter that provides guided tours. They are very expensive and if want to bargain with them, they offer you out of the office service. Once you get that offer that looks great offer, you are trapped and you will pay way more than the first official offer. Go online and get a well known companies that provide guided tours specially Booking.com. Restaurant was a bit over charged but the food on room service was ok.

Saudi ArabiaThe WiFi only worked well on the lobby. Despite good signal strength on my 9th floor, I was only able to get connection for a few minutes, and never again. Property maintenance is sub-par. Hooks in the bathroom fall off (not broken, just need tightening), glass shower curtain rattles - again, just needs fixing. Vent holes in the hall are open, like someone started work and never finished. Bathroom mirror is chipped, and so on.
We had a spacious two-bed suite for the whole family, with good beds and lots of storage. Breakfast was good. All the staff were nice and helpful. Hotel location is central only a few minutes ride from Tahrir Square.
