Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IsraelThe facilities need much improvement: the mattress was super soft and very uncomfortable, not enough toilet paper for our stay, not enough kitchen appliances for a family’s stay and no basic stuff like oil, salt, toaster, enough sugar etc.
Good location in the center, but still very quiet. Clean. Easy check in and check out. Option for free parking for a few minutes walk. Washing machine and dishwasher both with soap available.

SpainThe place is exactly as described and shown in photos. Very nicely decorated with extra linens, basic kitchen/dining items, and comfortable beds. They even provided us with a high chair and nice crib for our baby. It was exceptionally clean as well, which we appreciated since our baby crawled all over the floor. The one minor downside was that the bedroom (at least in our 1br apt) didn’t have a door, so when we put our baby to sleep we had to be extra quiet while hanging out in the living room. The best part about the place though is the location! It’s in the middle of the action with restaurants and shops all around. You could walk to the grocery store and it’s literally one block from a beautiful beach. And considering it’s located in a busy area, the apartment was surprisingly soundproof. Lastly, the free parking was a great bonus. It’s in a different building about a 5min walk away, but it’s safe and easy to access. Highly recommend staying here.

United StatesThe parking was paid by the owner which was nice, however it was a bit of a walk with all of our bags. I wasn’t bothered by this considering it is a beach town and parking is not easy in a beach town. The location is above a small bar which was a bit loud however I didn’t mind considering the price and the location.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. Practically across the street from the beach. The owner was extremely fast to respond to any questions or concerns.

Nice, clean and cosy! No expense spared on the property. I will 100% book again. Thanks again for bringing my forgotten passport to Barcelona airport ;-)

The location is super, very closely to the beach and many cafe, restaurants. It’s very private staying I think, because there are 4 apartments in 2 floors only in hotel Breeze. It was very quiet and we have full relax. There are super design, good appliances, excellent purity. Sofa of our room was after fresh cleaning. Hotel has free parking in walking distance, the key for parking was in the room. I think the administration of hotel works very hardly, but you will not see any of administration due to good work of code key access;)) I recommend absolutely!

Canada1- the beds are very very uncomfortable 2- the worst thing is the owner and his attitude. he is so disrespectful: the wifi was not working well (would come and go), so we told him. he got angry and checked the speed(which was good at that moment). I was trying to explain that sometimes the internet was good, sometimes we don’t have it at all.. but he got angry and started yelling and saying a lot of bad words. our 2yo daughter got scared! it was an awful experience!

Spain- the room was not clean at all, dirty towels, dirty bed sheets, we were even bitten by bed bugs. - the tv was not working - we had to buy a lot of stuff during our stay (paper towels, toilet paper, detergents) which are usually provided by the owners - i don’t know by other apartments in the building, but ours was dirty, really hard to enjoy
Pros: - good location, close to the beach (although noisy during the night) - lots of places to eat nearby - self check in and check out
