Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe bathroom washbasin tap is activated by sensor which is less convenient. I couldn't find the way to control the water temperature in the shower.
A nice hotel located in a small village, the host was very kind and welcoming, the hotel is nicely decorated.

United KingdomThe presence of some flies in the dining room. It is possibly not something easily preventable and it did not detract from my enjoyment of my stay.
The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. The evening meal was very nice and I would definitely say that it was a balanced meal as far as all the necessary nutrients are concerned. This is not the case with every restaurant nowadays. There was plenty of food for breakfast including products from the local region. The views are very nice from the hotel and on the first floor are glass cabinets holding everyday relics from many years ago. A bit like a museum. We saw a guide book of places to stay with a view from our room on the front cover. The hotel was featured in the book and it was the only one featured in the Spanish Pyrenees.

SpainFor those who sleep light the sound of the river could be too loud at night and there isn't much sound isolation. Although...others might find it even better for the sleep - like a white noise. Not in my case unfortunately.
Together with my partner we only spent 1 night at Casa Leonardo and to be honest wish we'd spent more! We're definitely going back. We loved everything: the authenticity of the place, the host, the food. EVERYTHING. Congrats to the owners for putting so much love into this jewel of a place.

IsraelWhat a wonderful place and atmosphere! Very warm and welcoming family and stuff, and Mireia is such an amazing hostess. Big heart and shiny eyes and lots of care for her guests and the nature around. It feels like home from better and simpler times, but also very rich and plentiful in good taste. Very good quality home-made food and with such generosity. I feel very lucky and grateful. Thank you for everything and best of luck and plenty of rain and snow for the environment! I truly hope to come again one day and spoil myself again with a couple of nights here.

IsraelTruly nothing
This is one of the places you arrive to, and want to recommend it to all your friends. All the reviews I read on the place were just right: The family hosting is the nicest, the house is incredibly beautiful, very chic and with amazing vintage collection. The nature around and the village is breathtaking - with a nice river under your room - just take a glass of the good wine they have, some tapas, sit there, and you will feel in heaven! Not to mention the delicious, healthy and local food they prepare - It was the best food we had in our trip. Go there - You won't regret it! Looking forward to be back!

United KingdomFor me, nothing. During our two weeks travelling in Spain this year we also stayed in five Paradors, two converted monasteries, two large modern hotels and a small hotel in San Sebastián that charged five times the price. Senterada was my favourite.
I loved the authenticity and the history of this small village hotel. It's a community hub and the family owners give a very personal service. The food is simple and there is no menu - you eat what they decide to cook that day - but everything is tasty and local. The bar and the tables by the river are also very inviting.

The hostess was so welcoming: friendlly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and clean with the upstairs corridor set out like a museum with glass cases containing all sorts of items from the past. Food was outstanding and such amazing value for money. We will definitely be visiting again

United StatesWe should have stayed another day!
Mireia and the rest of the wonderful people that help run Casa Leonardo were friendly, professional, and the most welcoming bunch. The food (grown and raised locally and prepared by Mireia's mother) was FANTASTIC and very generous. The house is beautiful, Senterada is just adorable, and hiking, biking or driving just a village or two over offers STUNNING views of the Pyrenees. Additionally, Mireia has found a way to protect their beautiful country by adopting and encouraging many eco-conscious practices. She is an inspiration for passion and hard work. They have built a VERY special experience at Casa Leornardo. We will return!

BelgiumSorry we only stayed one night.
Mireilla and her family set themselves the highest standards in terms Eco credentials and make us all reflect on how we can better... We loved our stay at the Casa L. The interior decor preserves the spirit of the Olden Days. Corridors are lined with museum-style glass display cabinets full of ancient trinkets from bygone eras. Fascinating historical photos too. We stayed in a twin room with balcony window over the river: iron bedframes oldi-worldi bedding, original floor tiles ...seemlessly combined with ultra modern bathroom: electronic no-touch tap, designer ultra modern sink, showerhead recessed into ceiling. Comfy beds - best sleep in a long time. Mireilla cooks a superb evening meal with home grown and local ingredients. All guests seated in great-grandmother's parlour or authentic kitchen. Just delightful on ever level. Hope to return and stay longer and discover the area in more detail.

United StatesThe room is a bit small, but still charming.
Utterly charming small hotel which has been run by the same family for many years. The owner and her daughter and other staff were so kind and lovely. The building and decor are vintage but with very nice modern bathrooms. We had a double room overlooking the river which was really nice. The weather allowed us to keep the balcony doors open all night to enjoy the rippling river. The bar is a local hang out which added to the ambiance. The dinner is a must. The owner and her mother prepare one multi course meal each night but it is fantastic made with very fresh local ingredients. I believe they accommodate dietary needs if you let them know in advance. We stayed two nights so got to enjoy two wonderful dinners in the darling dinning room. Good wine and beer as well. Breakfast was also wonderful with fresh fruits, yogurt, breads, sausages, cheeses, juice etc. just lovely.
