Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaWhen we arrived (early, I'd been told they would accommodate us if there was a room available) the concierge was rude and not very helpful. Thankfully he agreed to store our bags but when we asked if there were coffee shops nearby, he scoffed and said "not at this time" no follow up. Left a bad first impression, we were able to check in before the scheduled time a few hours later which we were grateful for, the rest of our interactions with the staff were great.
The location is good, an easy bus ride in to the main part of town. The streets are quiet with a few restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and well kept.

DenmarkAircon didn’t work the first couple of days - it was way too hot in our room, and after that, it blasted out for the last 3 days, and we couldn’t turn it up, down or off, so it was way too cold. Also the pool is VERY small, be aware.

RussiaWhile one of us was having a shower, the second one was lying in the bed after the shower. Then suddenly I heard our door opening and someone just said “Hola.” I was shocked and did not know what to do because the worker didn’t react to my questions in English, so my partner had to stop showering and talk to this woman in Spanish while having only a towel on because she did not plan on leaving. Turned out this woman wanted to refill our mini-bar because the previous guests drank something and they forgot to do it during the cleaning time. This is despicable. First, you cannot enter rooms like this, you never know what people might actually be doing. Knock, then knock again but NEVER enter like this unless you’re 100% sure that you are allowed to or the room is empty! Second, refill you mini-bar when rooms are empty or at least ask! We were passing by the reception desk all the time and nobody though of maybe simply asking when we would be away? And one more thing, please, install hand showers. Everybody keeps on mentioning this but the owners are not eager to make this step.
The hotel is nice. The room is very spacious so do not really understand why people in the reviews sometimes say that this room is not big enough for two, that’s very far from being truth. Everything was very clean, new towels were delivered every day, even slippers were there! The public transportation is relatively close, very easy to get around.

United KingdomThe aircon in our room was not cooling, it was just recycling the room's air. Barcelona can be very hot and humid, so a good aircon is a must in a 4 star hotel. The bathroom did not have an extractor, so all the hot air would go into the room. This on top of the aircon not working made it quite hard to sleep or stay in the room for too long
