Room was quite small but reasonable for price. Lots of stairs but staff helped me and were very accommodating with my young baby.

Beautiful space, great location, welcoming, kind staff with good recommendations for places to go & eat. Felt like an authentic introduction to Palma.

It is completely overpriced for a 1 star hostal. Very noisy with shared facilities dotted all over - so woken all night with people using.

Squeaky bed, woke me up every time I moved during the night. Also, there are no photos of the Single room presented in the room option, so I was unsure of what I'm actually booking.

It was right next to a school and really noisy in the morning with school kids playing ball games before class. So it was a 730am wake up call! Although this may have just been an unlucky room allocation. Not many communal spaces where people were hanging out. No facilities to make coffee or tea, maybe some breakfast options would be good. I unfortunately had a main plumbing pipe in my room so every time someone used the toilet or shower I had the noise of the water running down the pipe, which was quite loud.

Beautiful space, with lovely furniture and interiors. The bedroom was simple but perfect for one person, I also had a sink in my room which was handy, and room included a towel. Bed was comfy. 👌🏼 I asked Victoria for a yoga studio recommendation, and she helped me with a map and name of a local place. She was very friendly and really approachable. Also WhatsApped her about travel to the airport and she responded really quickly with info. 🙌🏼

Because it is an old structure, it was a bit noisy at night.

The place is so atmospheric, and right in the centre of Palma. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Highly advised!

The room is extremely minimalistic. You have to be aware of many steps. Beside that our staying was really good :)

The building is historical and has amazing climate. Everywhere you can find antiques and it makes climate. The room is small and minimalistic to the minimum. The hostel has few toilets and we didn’t wait, but I assume in high season it can be difficult. The personnel was helpfull and nice. Place is clean and well-kept.

I should say that because of the traditional character of the building, rooms have to share a bathroom and toilet. This wasn't really a big issue for us as it was just along the corridor. The bathroom itself is clean and modern with a good shower. There is a second bathroom further along and another separate toilet if you should find the nearest one occupied.

I liked the traditional interior of the Hostal Pons, it is an original building from another era, with antique furniture, tiled floors and high ceilings. The various public rooms on different floors have the feeling of a family home. In our room, the wooden framed bed was very comfortable with fresh bedding and we slept well. Victoria on reception was very welcoming so we felt relaxed right away and enjoyed our stay. We liked the climb up onto the roof terrace for the views over the rooftops. Leaving the courtyard entrance you are a short walk to the busy cafes and bars of the old town. the location is also easily found from the Passeig de Mallorca last stop of the A1 airport bus.

A little bit noisy from the alley in early hours (large group of drunk men) but only briefly. No hot water in morning for shower.

Great location. Near the museum sector. Surrounded by art galleries and lots restaurants, bars. Gerard very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to drop suitcases off in rooms early. Lovely interior with lots of original features. Clean.

Bed not very comfortable and quite a bit of noise transfer from the hallway. No door to our ensuite just a shower curtain.

The Hostal was amazing and exactly like on the pictures! Of course the bathroom is shared (as written) but very clean and modern/renovated. Great location and the owners were super nice and communication went great ☺️ Gave us great recommendations for Bars and Restaurants as well! Would book again when returning to Palma!

As others have mentioned, it’s an old building so the soundproofing isn’t as good as more modern places. It’s right next to a school so I could hear the children arriving from about 8am.

The location is brilliant - right in the heart of the old town and a 5 minute walk from the airport bus stop. The shared bathrooms were very clean and I never had to queue.

The room was initially cold however the additional blanket kept me warm. The walls were thin enough that the visitor snoring in the in the next room woke me up in the middle of the night. Snoring visitors is beyond the control of Hostal Pons.

the 2 managers of the hotel were both knowledgeable, about the neighbourhood and gave me excellent directions and tourist advice. The room was clean convenient the perfect size for a single traveller. I shared a bathroom -- it was clean, newly renovated shower with good temperature control and pressure. The bathroom very close to my room. The Hostal Pons is in older building with many common rooms.

Go in with the expectation that it is an old building with the regular issues an old building has. If you’re looking for a modern establishment, go elsewhere.
