Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LuxembourgThe outside bar is not very well managed. It seems that they are not able to cope with medium occupancy. There were some tables occupied, but not even all of them. However, they told us that we needed to wait for more than 1 hour to get our dinner served. We had to leave and arrange ourselves in a different place. Our impression was that they were not well organised in the kitchen.
The rooms were excellent, big ones with 2 separate rooms. We even received a baby bed that we had asked without charge. We did not take breakfast, so we cannot offer any feedback on this. The hotel is next to a forest area, very nice for walking.

SpainThere was an air conditioning that just spread hot air, it was impossible to sleep. And the recepcionist told us that all their air conditioning were like that. They can’t promote then that they have air conditioning, the don’t. Also it smelled like cooked food at all times, the ventilation system is horrible.

BelgiumWe arrived kind of late, but the entire place was closed, not a soul to be found. Luckily in the restaurant building across the street there was a waiter preparing the tables for the next day, and he was able to call someone, who told him that the keys to our room were sitting on a couch just outside around the corner fromthe reception area. We would never have found it. Then, on the first floor (where we found rooms that all started in the 500s - very disconcerting lol) we discovered our room, which, honestly whoever the hotel hired to refresh the rooms absolutely massacred it. Totally poor workmanship on an already very unfortunate choice of flooring, wall, tile, and furniture styles that are just cringe. It was clean, just in dire need of an overhaul.
We chose this hotel as a stop off on our way to Madrid to break the trip into 2. The location was right where we needed it to be. It was easy to find.

SpainI chose this hotel as it had AC, but it barely worked in either room. Nobody arrived to sort it, although they had said they would. The swimming pool was full of a coach load of teenagers so we couldn’t use it (that’s life though, I can tolerate that, and the municipal pool in Guadarrama was great). It was clean enough, but still many dirty areas that had been missed. We couldn’t get much sleep at night and they were working on parts of the hotel with power tools early on so I couldn’t try for a siesta in the daytime to make up for it. Both showers flooded after a few minutes so a very poor design. While they’ve done some renovation, it all looks superficial and tired.
The South American lady at breakfast was great. Not much else unfortunately.

SpainWe stayed in 3 rooms. Two of the bedrooms were not very clean. We could hear people on the corridor and next door after midnight.
Location was convenient to stay the night during our trip. We were 9 people and the hotel met our needs for a reasonable price.
