Most Spanish hotels do not have a make up or hair dressing table in the room. I like the magnifying mirror but bathroom was too dark to do make up in. Also we need a full length mirror in the dressing area.

Wonderful hotel - away from the hustle and bustle of Marbella, but still easy enough to get to. Set in beautiful grounds by the beach, great spa and pool facilities and the staff were very professional and friendly.

Pool doesn’t open till 11am, but Apart from that everything was perfect.

Beautiful, well manicured grounds. Room was large and well decorated. It was a quiet peaceful location with every corner you turned being breathtakingly beautiful.

very quiet and lacking any atmosphere (we appreciate it is out of season) no heated outdoor swimming pool no bar open in the evenings

We were upgraded to a very nice suite. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast included in the rate. Nice location on the seafront with direct access to the coastal walking path. very nice spa.

Excellent hotel, the staff are beyond wonderful and absolute credit to the hotel. Location is right on the beach and on the cycle track of Estepona. Great for walks and a selection of restaurants and beautiful views. Allergy friendly hotel too for anyone gluten free or dairy intolerant - they have various options. Room was fabulous with beautiful views.

There is no selling light in the room. ( dark during the afternoon hours ) a few of the electric sockets didn't work. Breakfast is terrible luckily there is a nice bar close to the hotel. At the gym half of the equipment was out of order. Smell inside is not pleasant. No place for other excercies than cardio. No service room during late evening/night

The restaurant was expensive and the quality was not great so we ate inI Estepona instead Beach photos are completely misleading - there is hardly any beach and no one is on it as it was piled up with seaweed

The hotel looks a bit tired and need an make over.

Rooms and relatively big and the bathrooms are well equipped. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. What is most obvious is that the hotel is past its glory times. The rooms desperately need a make over. They are very old fashion and beyond wear and tear. For a 5 star hotel, too outdated to keep up with the competition. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Pool and beach are nice and well maintained. We only had breakfast and didn’t use the restaurant facilities but the serve an amazing a la carte breakfast with the best eggs Benedict I ever had.

Truthfully the Spa at this hotel is really amazing but the cost of even the most basic treatment seemed expensive (eg: Euros 130 for a 50 min facial), compared to elsewhere. But maybe this is because I do not normally use a Spa and am not up to date with prices. However a 50 min facial at the Danesfield House in Marlow (super expensive hotel) is £90.

The breakfast overlooking the sea is simply magical and the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast in the lower bar starts at 09:30 but 08:30 in the hotel itself. The staff went out of their way to make my stay fantastic and even picked up a daily English newspaper for me from a petrol station. The gardens and ambiance of Las Dunas are fabulous.

Restaurant staff was very slow and hard to get a drink round the pool press the waiters button about 4 times it took about 30 minutes and there was nobody eating in the restaurant

The spa doesn’t open until 10am so I couldn’t get an early appointment to use the reformer.

The entire experience was exceptional. Gorgeous room balcony with beautiful view of the sea. Staff were friendly food lovely. We hardly left the property. We will definitely be back
