The only very slight issue we had was it's a bit difficult to find. Some signage on or near the door would have helped.

Nothing that we didn’t like

It was in an old stables in the historic part of Girona - very atmospheric. There was no window, which felt strange at first but we soon got used to it. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The flats are very well appointed!

Everything was perfect

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Girona Catedral in the Narcis Apartment. What a beautiful little gem of a place. Check in was very easy, a key code for the outside door and a lock box with the apartment key once you were inside. There was some mention from previous reviews about the musty smell - to us it was an old building so we found nothing offensive about the slightly 'old' smell as you walked in, please do not let this put you off. The history, location and facilities in the apartment we had were superb. Amazing stonework, beautifully renovated into apartments. Narcis Apartment had two windows, plenty of space, a very comfortable bed with spare blankets and air conditioning . Lovely touches like the coffee, tea and cakes/biscuits which were left for us. Plenty of towels, lovely hot shower. A perfect location to be right in the history of the old town, you can hear the sound of the cathedral bells and are minutes away from the building itself. Close to a supermarket, plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a very early flight home and walked to the bus station, the streets around the apartment have plenty of street lights and felt very safe. We would highly recommend you to stay here if you want to be in the history of it all, wonderful experience.

I wasn’t told which room I would be in. This led to my neighbors and I talking which was helpful but awkward - they also didn’t know what room they would be in. We just took the rooms that were free.

The space is so beautiful - to be surrounded with history was the best part. It had everything I needed, and the staff was quick to respond.

We had a wonderful time in this unique, historic apartment which is situated right next to the famous cathedral. The hosts were lovely - my girlfriend left her phone in the apartment after we had left, and they came to the apartment to let us back in to collect it. We were then given a lift to the train station!

We loved everything about it!

this is an absolute gem of a place. To visit Girona is to stay in the old historic part of of the city and Girona Cathedral is the perfect place to stay. It captures the beauty and history of the area. Built in the 1400s, it is a spectacular stone walled apartment with a vaulted stone ceiling. The bathroom is stunning. A stone staircase leading up to the bathroom, featuring an incredible stone encased shower. The entire apartment is romantic, super comfortable and embodies the charm and history of the old city.

The room is at the ground floor of a very old building. While on one side is fascinating, on the other there are no windows in the room. This should have be written in the description. Very humid, with a very strong smell of mold that cannot be masked by the many scent diffuser. They say they are going to solve the problem since they got permission for major works.

Right in the heart of the old city. I didn’t meet the staff in person but they have Ben very fast in answering our questions and very helpful as well.

There is a damp musty smell which would have concerned us more had it not felt like a unique cave dwelling. Also, with only a bathroom sliding door with gaps around it, you'd need to be comfortable with who you're traveling with if you know what I mean.

So unusual, it's like staying in a 14th century cave. Very conveniently located in old town. The hosts thoughtfully left coffee pods, tea and cookies. It was also appreciated that they checked on us by WhatsApp to make sure that we got in ok. We would stay there again.
