For the price and location all good

Hard to find by car, just take your time and follow directions, but fantastic to have a car park just across the road. Drop the car and walk everywhere. Smart room, not huge, with lovey windows and balcony. The coffee and croissant breakfast in the adjoining cafe was very nice to start the day.

Old fashioned style breakfast served at the table with very little choice, two prices. An extra cup of coffee bumps the price from the lower to the higher. I should have gone out for breakfast.

The main problem with the hotel is the lack of soundproofing. You can hear absolutely everything in the room: from the street, from the hallway, and from the floor above. It was impossible to sleep at night. The breakfast is just a basic facility, not a real breakfast.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the waitresses. The rooms are simple but clean. There is a fridge too. Location in the city centre close to everything.

Breakfast was a slight issue purely because the hotel is misleading when you book a room with breakfast included. What they don’t tell you is that the breakfast is worth €3.90 and options are extremely limited. I would suggest that most people that travel a reasonable amount, staying at various hotels in different countries would expect something a bit better based on experience. We were very disappointed that it wasn’t a buffet style breakfast. Basically you get a cup of tea or coffee, a glass of orange juice and the choice of either a slice of toast with marmalade or a croissant or a small pot of yogurt or a piece of fruit. Prior to arriving in Valladolid we had stayed at similar hotels in Salamanca and Madrid who offered far superior breakfast meals. To be fair to guests and manage expectations they should explain clearly what exactly they mean when they say that breakfast is included. I can honestly say that I’ve never encountered this during previous stays anywhere. It the only negative for the hotel but it’s a big one!

Follow Sat Nav - it tells you to turn left down what appears to be no entry / restricted access. As a tourist staying there you can go down the street and follow signs to the hotel. Th see parking in January 2024 was €9.90. The included breakfast is limited- 1 pastry or toast or one piece of fruit (an apple or kiwi for me) or a yogurt- the OR means one choice - plus fruit juice and a coffee. Sufficient if meagre.

The location is super. Staff were very helpful in directing us by phone.
