Wi-fi could be simpler for short-term guests. It is free, but it takes at least 5 min to set up, and I'm afraid some people will lose even more time on it.

Location is excellent when the buses go regularly. But if you plan to come/leave in some very early/late hours you will need taxi, which we did need and it was OK (there are tel. numbers on the board at entrance, but I advice to use their app). Beds were comfortable enough. Perhaps an extra blanket could be needed on a colder night. Wi-fi was free, but you need to register through their system. It's a bit of a hassle, but it doesn't need to be paid (only some premium options).

Um nothing ! Except the room needed an airing on my arrival.

I liked the fact that this accomodation does what it says on the tin! It is clean, tidy and convenient. Fun to feel a bit like a student again too :) Importantly though, I should like to complement Adrian at reception. He was highly efficient at his role but more he was so extremely kind and helpful.

The air conditionner is very loud, couldn't use it because of that... :(

Very good choice if you are looking for a place to just spend the night, take a shower, may be prepare some food and sleep, during your trip to Girona's beaches ! The room is equiped with the minimum needed for that ! Beds are comfortable, the overall room and bathroom area are clean, and there are some dishes and cooking fournitures in the kitchenette. I appreciate that the residence is also equiped with laundry room, but we didn't use it. We also loved the vibe in the entertainement area downstairs the reception: you can play ping pong, billardo, volley ball, you also may want to have your meal there watching tv. I think that you definetly need a car to go to the city center or beaches, that's how we did, parking is available in the residence.

I don't know if they cleaned the room I was invited to, as the toilet was really messy :( I asked the reception, and they sent a lady with me to check it - it was a bit weird, but she confirmed that it needed cleaning (that's my guess, as she didn't speak English), opened a room just next to the first one and I moved there. It was better, yet, not superclean either. Also, the place is quite far from the center, have that in mind.

I did not have an AC in my room (it was my choice, I did not want to pay extra), but the hosts kindly offered a fan to fight the heat (and that worked). The room was nice - it was simple but had everything I needed.

Looks better in the photos - was pretty disappointing upon arrival. I know the name told me it was student housing, but I didn't expect it to be so cheap and crappy. No frills basic might have been ok if it was actually super clean, but sadly it was not - I don't think their cleaning staff does a very good job and does not pay attention to details - the bathroom felt grimey and had dirt in the corners, the outlets in the wall were covered in dust. They should deep clean at least once a month, but I think they just speed through the rooms. Also really terrible that the windows don't properly open to get fresh air in - you can only get a tiny opening and it's not enough so the room always felt 20x hotter than the hallway which made sleep difficult. On the plus side, the staff at the front desk was always friendly and super helpful and the outdoor spaces were nice to relax in, except that a ton of people were always smoking right near the doors, so all the smoke would come inside the building. The area was a bit far from things - 25-30 minutes walking, but there was a bus right at the corner which was super convenient.

Great value for the money. We had 4 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, plus a lovely, light-filled kitchen and living room. The parking was easy to access. Conveniently located next to the Girona F.C. football stadium, where we were lucky enough to catch a match. There was a nice vibe in the place, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the game room offered free pool and ping pong.

The beds have foam, camping style mattresses and the toilet doors are broken so they can't be closed. The air-conditioning sounds like an airplane. Absolutely no soundproof, every noise from the hotel sounds as if it comes from the inside of our room. They didn't even provide us with a shower carpet, to step out of the shower.

If I had to pick, they didn't have a breakfast option or a cafeteria open on Sunday morning, so we had to go get our breakfast elsewhere. They do have vending machines though!

Loved the room, the bed was very comfy and it was very well equipped! The AC was a wonder in action, so powerful and quiet! The views were nice and the whole place was clean and sharp.

the very unhelpful and inefficient duty janitor - he muttered to himself and huffed and puffed the whole time we were trying to check-in (took 20 minutes!). he struggled with the photocopier to copy our passports, he struggled to find the room key, was generally gruff and offhand and made us feel very uncomfortable. the room only had 1 single bed in it (we had booked a double) and we didn’t have faith in his ability to sort it out given his attitude generally. we asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere but he said he didn’t know how to do that as that was ‘girls stuff’. the University have since refused to refund our 68 euros on the basis that another bed could be put into the room but the actual communication with the janitor on the night in question was so poor that we understood it to be a put-u-up bed. very poor communication and very poor customer service.

difficult to say because we never actually got to stay there in the end! we liked the idea of staying on a university campus.
