The price is a bit steep for a small town like Girona.

The location is very good. It is very easy to get there from the main bus/train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke good english.

It was simple, clean and just what it showed in the pictures. We stayed only one night, and got a good night sleep. Air conditioner was heaven. It is near the station, 5-10 minutes walk. And everything you need is near.

The linens were clean but there were no blankets on the bed, just thick top sheets that were quite stiff and scratchy. Maybe this would have been fine given the hot summer weather, but the a/c was blasting and difficult to modify (it wasn't easy to get the settings figured out), so our room was pretty cold in the night and we really needed some warmer blankets. Also we were surprised to find 2 bunk beds, I had been under the impression there was a double bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed railings were not sufficiently safe for my children to be able to use the upper bunks, which they were a bit disappointed about. Parents will want to take note about this if you have young children with you.

Great location within walking distance of train. The person at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had really strong air conditioning on (the day was very hot and when we got into our room it the a/c had been blasting so it was very chilled in there!)

Lift was slow, no plug for bath tub, no kettle in kitchen and one of the hobs didn't seem to work, which made the simple process of boiling some water a bit of a mission. A kettle would be more energy efficient and stop someone wanting hot water from blocking access to hob and pan for other guests. Also, it's confusing to put 'adult only' when booking.com seems to define 'adult only' as meaning children are not allowed. Not complaining though, it was pretty good.

Great location close to the centre. Friendly staff, access to kitchen and cheap coffee vending machine, room was small but comfortable with a small private balcony. It IS child friendly, despite saying adult only on booking.com. Great that you can check-in as early as 2pm and have until midday to checkout (helps a lot when you have heavy bags!) Generous with the towels compared to some places I've stayed!

Highly recommended! Excellent value! Great location in walking distance of the train station. I went to Barcelona and Figueres to see the Dali exhibition. Also in walking distance of the historic old town, nice restaurants and biggest park. Supermarket and the market are close by. Rooms are well equipped and clean communal kitchen with 2 large fridges to put things in. Also drinks machines. Would definitely stay here again.

The shower was a bit hard to use and the cold water knob was not working on the lavatory so I have to rush washing my hands or brushing my teeth because the hot water was the only one working.

I like the location, it is amazing! Very close to the old City but also close to the Train Station, halfway between the two. I was clean, and humble as I understand it is also a dormitory. The Airconditioning system is amazing especially in the hot Girona afternoon.

The white floor had hair on it and was not mopped. The sink and shower seemed clean but the toilet area smelt of urine.Less that half a roll of toilet paper had to ask for more. The sheet was clean but had a burn tear right on the fold down.The towel were poor quality and dont dry well...

Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend this hostel. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night so didn't use the cooking facilities. We had the children warned that it was budget accommodation but they didn't see any difference between it and other no frill hotels that we've stayed in! The shower was amazing!
