Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI wouldn't say that it's something l didn't like. It would have been good to have a bath mat, and that is all as everything else was perfect.
Loved how when we walked in there, you could see how clean and smell how clean it was. Sofas were comfy, and more importantly, the bed was comfy. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything you need if you do use it, but we didn't we ate out. The caretaker was very friendly and said to my partner if you need anything, just ask. Already booked another visit for May Bank Holiday wkend.

Lovely large clean flat with modern features and appliances, parking was provided for with a permit which was no hassle and didn't cost any extra. The location of the property was a very short walk to the sea. Plenty of corner shops and places to eat in a reasonable distance. Would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomWe asked for a spare quilt before arrival but wasn't provided. We had a party of 4 and used the sofa and pull out sofa. We parked in the car park but was told by the caretaker that this was for owners only. Parking was available anywhere around the area on the street and a parking permit is in the flat.
Location is great. Near the centre but a steep walk down the cliff to the sea. Clean apartment and lift if you can't make the stairs to level 2. Everything you need in the apartment and Netflix if you use your own login. No need to take tea bags, sugar, as these are provided but pick up milk. Take a screen shot of the message of where the key box and code is, this will help later. Clean, spacious living area and one bedroom. Lovely bathroom. Sainsbury's local 10min walk Just after key box place but on left hand side.
