Can't fault anything for the price we paid.

Cabin was immaculate, views are amazing, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Bedding and towels were provided, and the kitchen had every appliance and utensil you would need for a short stay.

Loved how cosy the cabin is with an electric had fire and the views out of the cabin were amazing. We enjoyed watching the birds feeding outside the window. The cabin is situated in a lovely wee village and it is easy to get to some beautiful spots. The cabin is small but it has everything that you need and the owners are very welcoming and friendly.

Cabin was well laid out ,clean, very well located ,very nice hosts n very helpful ,probably a little bit small for 2 adults 2 children and 2 dogs ,facilities were adequate

Nothing it was lovely, but I would suggest changing the single bunk beds to a double bed on the bottom bunk and adding a little gate at the patio to secure the dogs in.

The cabin was fully equipped and very clean. The owners were fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the patio was incredible over the hills. Loads of walks and cycle tracks around. It was the perfect getaway.

Very little. Parking was a bit awkward when the road out front was busy (mornings and early evenings) and we couldn't find a baking tray when cooking pizzas but those are nitpicky issues which didn't affect our stay. There are no obvious or notable downsides to staying here.

It was a privilege to stay at An Carraig. The warmest hosts, the most beautiful location and an exquisite wee cabin with everything we needed for a calm, quiet trip in nature. Can't recommend enough.

We didn't experience my negatives at all, we had a great stay. One thing to be mindful of is the parking is near a busy road, but the name of the street does give this away as it's on the main road though the village, doesn't really affect the stay in any way.

The accommodation was clean and well equipped and the owners went out of their way to offer useful information, they were very approachable whilst respecting privacy. Bedding was soft and comfy and the towels were lovely and fluffy, which made it feel very homely.

    The weather!

The cabin is ideally located for hillwalking in the area: Ben Venue and Ben Ledi for example and there are good low level walks possible from the cabin: e.g: the Rob Roy Way to Callandar. My own stay coincided with some very wet weather but it was late November in Scotland so not unexpected! The cabin is an excellent base for one or two people. I would return.

    Nothing it was ideal

The setting in Strathyre is amazing with an incredible view of the hill out front to wake up to in the mornings was utter bliss. The hosts are fantastic and very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area restraunts etc. The cabin/chalet itself is cosy and comfortable and perfect for a wee get away. Both my partner and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for sure as it makes an ideal wee base for days out exploring the trossachs.

    Nothing!

Cozy little log cabin. Woods behind it look like faerieland. Very well equipped, welcoming and very helpful hosts, good shower, private parking space. Stunning surroundings. As for food: At the Broch Café down the road we had a really nice lunch. Good restaurants are just a short drive away. In short: you’re lucky if you are able to book this one!
