Nothing to dislike. The bathroom was quite small, but perfectly adequate.

The very welcoming and helpful host and hostess. Helen’s blueberry scones! Little touches, such as a “wee dram” waiting in our room. The location. It was fun to see how the church has been adapted into a comfortable B&B.

    Not a thing.

The greeting from host Kevin was most welcoming and informative. The decor of the church has been done to a high spec and is very homely and Scottish. The two drams of whiskey in our room on arrival was greatly apprectued by my husband, who had both! You can walk to everything in town, so location is perfect.

Coffee is a matter of preference - we were a bit disappointed with the coffee. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Very good, cooked to order so you could have as much or as little as required. Waitress service made it feel more special and any extra requests were catered for.

    There were no issues.

This is a first class B&B providing very good service, comfortable rooms, superb breakfast in a unique building in Ballater. Location is excellent and only a 5 min walk into the centre of the town for shopping or evening eating and drinks. The owners take great care to provide a superb service and can offer local area advice for walking and sightseeing trips in the area. Rooms are well equipped with a Nespresso machines and good TV options. Parking is on-road but not a problem as the town is quiet and parking outside the property is easy. Overall, a superb B&B that deserves the multiple awards it has received in the past few years. We can’t wait to return.

Breakfast has lots of variety, is prepared with love and is super delicious! And the tips what to do during the day and in the evening were fantastic! We will definetly book again when being around!

    nothing! just perfect.

beautiful location, what a amazing B&B! we really enjoyed our stay, everything was great! the breakfast was perfect (the kids thought so too) what a choice, both sweet and savory and lots of it from our own kitchen, pastries, croissants, fresh fruit... delicious! Best breakfast of our holiday. There was a glass of whiskey in the room, but also a bottle of juice and homemade shortbread for the children! you notice that everything has been thought through, the owners want to distinguish themselves and do so in a nice way. It's the little things that stand out and, in our opinion, these are what make this a unique location. sweet, pure and helpful sincere owners who are proud of their beautiful place. always room for a chat and good advice about the area. the rooms are very nice, stylish and spotlessly clean. and congrets with Celtic! recommended! 10/10!!

Our introduction chat was maybe a little long. We were cold and wet off a mountain and honestly just wanted to get in a hot shower. To be fair we should have probably said.

Accommodation, staff, location and breakfast were all great. Nice addition of an in-house bar too.

I cannot think of anything that I would change.

Comfortable, well-appointed room which was quiet despite being adjacent to the main road into the town. The owners and their staff know their business very well, and work hard to present a very high standard (e.g., great breakfasts!). The building is a converted church, and retains some characterful features from its previous use. Location is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the town.
