Location was a bit isolated requiring you to drive to local towns for meals. We also had trouble finding it as Bookings.com address was not correct.

Room was comfortable and breakfasts were great. Cynthia was happy to cater for additional dietary requirements. Lovely country B&B property.

There was nothing we were not happy with

We used Caroe Farm House as a base to explore the local area and specifically the sites of the King Arthur legend. Breakfast was wonderful. Plentiful fresh fruit salad was especially welcome and sausages were excellent quality. Parking was very easy, the building very well maintained, and the decor tasteful - calm but fresh. We had a twin room (Poldark Room) which we had specified at the time of booking, and it was even better than the photo. The bathroom was lovely - large, exceptionally well lit, and with a double walk in shower, and everything everywhere was spotless. This is the owners' private home and it was organised to ensure a perfect balance of privacy for guests and for themselves. Cynthia and her husband were very welcoming, friendly, and informative - and we were very pleased to have chosen the perfect place to enjoy our break.

The farmhouse is easy to find just off the main road. On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Cynthia along with tea & cake. After much chatting, I was shown upstairs to a twin room. The room was very clean and contained lots of storage. The bed was very comfortable with extra blankets if needed. The en-suite was a good size with fluffy towels, toiletries, and a large shower. Tea/coffee/biscuits were also provided. Breakfast was amazing! Fruit salad, Greek yoghurt, and granola. Followed by traditional cooked breakfast containing local produce. l would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful farmhouse with the most delightful hosts. Large comfortable rooms with fully equipped ensuite bathrooms. We were made to feel part of the family and given the most delicious breakfast each morning.

We liked everything about our stay , Cynthia is a great host and cooks a fantastic breakfast. The room we stayed in is clean , comfortable and a home from home, the shower is great too.

Well what can I say. We had a fantastic stay at Caroe Farmhouse. Tea and Cake on arrival. Lots of information re local Restaurants and places of interest. The room was lovely, tasteful decor with comfortable bed, large bathroom and great shower. Tea making facilities with biscuits as well. The breakfast was perfect to start the day. Lots of choices and very tasty. Enjoyed sitting around the farmhouse kitchen table and mixing with guests from Germany (All Lovely). A few interesting chats with Cynthia and Brian as well. Cynthia was a Lovely Lady, couldn't be more welcoming. Having somewhere like this to stay, made the trip to Cornwall a brilliant experience. Great location for visiting local places of interest and set in lovely grounds. Good Parking. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

The property was in lovely location , peaceful and in a lovely country side setting, somewhere you could totally relax and unwind.
