Not a lot of room in the bathroom, if I was bigger, it could have been a problem.

Loved the original features and charm, staff very welcoming and always had smiles on their faces. Food, both lunch and breakfast, very tasty. Breakfast was smaller than expected.

Not serving food or even opening the bar on Sunday evening is a little odd.

A lovely little hotel, an inn really, in a picture postcard English village. Very comfortable room, very nice food and tremendous people. We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

The road at the front can get noisy, but that’s about it.

Room 7 is like a mini-suite with standalone bath. The bed was really comfortable and the overall impression is that the standard is high, even down to the Tassimo coffee selection. The restaurant serves delicious food and what’s not to love about a complimentary breakfast? Plenty of car parking at the back also a good thing.

Coffee machine very temperamental. Called a member of staff to look at it as it spilled everywhere. Very prompt at sorting it out. Pillows were so high! Waited over half an hour for breakfast, but very nice food, so worth the wait. Just glad we weren't in a rush. Room very small, although we booked a small room so shouldn't be surprised!

Pub and food was very good. Staff very friendly. Would stay again. Location lovely.

Check in was a little hectic due to the pub being busy. On Sunday and Bank holiday Monday food only served to 4pm and drinks to 7.30pm.

The location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The food both lunch and breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room and the bathroom were very small, the toilet was too close to the facing wall.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was efficient. The room was clean and warm. Great tea and coffee options to choose from. There's a good choice of breakfast.. the full English breakfast was very tasty. Friend and I had an evening meal at the hotel restaurant, it was a very good dinner, we had the lamb, the fish and the Eynsford Mess. It was beautifully presented and really delicious. We will definitely be eating at the restaurant again.

Breakfast is OK. You choose from a menu. Service excellent but Food quality and presentation is average. (Poached eggs over cooked, bacon overcooked hard and crispy. (Different chef from the evening?) Would rather have option to not have breakfast included in price.

Stayed a few weeks previously. Really comfortable room with nice luxury touched. Bed comfortable. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Room is quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful.

    Nothing. Very nice stay.

Very nice staff, and a comfortable room. Very charming location. We had a meal there in the evening which was very nice and much better than your average pub grub. The chef did a nice line in Korean chicken and yummy dal/curry. Delicious and waiting staff were excellent. Would stay again.

The bathroom is small and awkward to use toilet as it's so close to the wall.

Good, quiet location. The room was clean with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee options were lovely. On this occasion noted there is a coffee machine in the room, and I enjoyed the hot chocolate and coffee options. Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. I have stayed several times and will be back.

The carpet up the stairs to the room was really grubby. The room was lovely but the simple black blind could be covered by some nice curtains.it seemed outbof place. Some fixtures in bathroom were rusting. Breakfast was nice but noise of staff in kitchen was distracting - shouting and shrieking

The room was well appointed. Bed nice and big and comfortable. Extra pillows available were a good idea. Shower room compact but well fitted. Breakfast was good. Evening meal was good. Free parking. Room very clean. Lots of fluffy towels and robes.Room was quiet. Great cocktails and beer selection in bar.

Loved the vibe but don't stay in room 4 until they sort the bed!

In room 4 the bed was hideous! I barely slept at all. I checked the next morning and it looks like the mattress had collapsed on one side, or it felt like one of those cheap "yellow and blue shared house in London" type mattresses. Which was very unexpected as everything else was quite fancy. The window also wouldn't seal properly so cars going past all night kept waking me up and because it didn't close 100% cold air was pouring in which was fine as I like it cooler in the room but because I had to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the window I had the cold wind blowing in my face all night past the blind. Pillows were also way too fat and rock hard which made for a very uncomfortable night overall.

Staff very friendly and helpful and accoodating to my need for a room with a bath and upgraded me which I was very appreciative of. Breakfast was really delicious and plentiful, and the whole vibe of the place is just lovely. The room was beautiful, unexpectedly boutique and fancy, and I'd stay here again. The duvet was lush too. But I would definitely not stay in room 4.

The bed was a little small for me....but a lovely room.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely town. The pub was really good with a good selection on the menu. I had the burger and the portion wasn't very large but it was absolutely delicious. The room was lovely as well and included a complimentary breakfast included which was one of nicest full English breakfasts I've ever had. Dogs are welcome as well which was the reason we stayed at the hotel.
