The family suite was absolutely perfect for us - super comfortable and brilliant for the kids to have their own separate space. We cycled to Whitstable and it was fabulous having secure bike storage on site. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect.

Very limited parking but the hotel has a number of parking bays a few hundred yards away which is where we had to park. Not a problem for us but it could be for others. Our room was a little on the small size but was spotlessly clean.

Wonderful position on the seafront. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. A good choice of hot and cold buffet breakfasts and we also enjoyed an excellent evening meal on our first night.

The balcony area definitely needs a good clean. There were spiderwebs everywhere and the table and chairs looked really old and definitely needed an upgrade. The only thing that was disappointing, as we paid extra for the balcony and sea view and wanted to relax there in the evening. It was noisy, due to our balcony being right above the bar/restaurant but it went quiet after the entertainment had stopped. Also on the booking it should be made clear that you can only park there from 1pm and have to leave by 1pm the next day. We got there quite early, so we were not aware of this. There is ample pay and parking in the town centre. So managed to park in a carpark for a couple of hours, before heading back to our hotel. But it would be good if we had some heads up of this information before arrival.

Location was excellent. They had parking available on site, which was a bonus but it was a little tight and very busy. If we hadn't of got there by 3pm, all the spots would of been taken. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom.Overall good sized rooms, with all facilities and a wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. Everything was within walking distance of Whitstable. So perfect hotel for a short stay and beautiful beach views and walks! Breakfast was good too and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Receptionist was friendly and helpful and even helped me upgrade my room to balcony beach view a couple of days before my arrival. I was very happy with that.

Room was a little small - bashed leg on bed a few times. Breakfast was a little disappointing but overall ok - however a more imaginative choice of bread would help - not just brown or white sliced!

Wonderful view - comfortable room - spotlessly clean, bright and airy.

Booking arrangements! Booked two nights via Booking.com and one night via Expedia using Avios points. Wanted De lux room with walk-in shower and balcony with sea view. Had previously spoke with hotel to ensure that we could keep the same room for all three nights, albeit two bookings. Had problems with Booking.com, they mis-booked the room and I could not change it on-line, Booking.com only allow upgrades, not changes! I spent 43 minutes on the phone to Booking.com and got it changed. Third night 'bounced' out of room and transferred to family room at the back of the hotel, no sea view, no balcony, no walk-in shower, as far from reception as possible - Expedia had booked a room that did not exist, a 'standard' room with balcony! Apart from that, our stay was most enjoyable.

Staff incredibly helpful and very friendly. Breakfast limited to traditional English only, but good quality. Rooms a bit on the small size, nicely furnished, but very limited storage space and chronic lack of comfortable seating.

Nothing...though parking might be a problem as not enough spaces on site, but there is street parking nearby.

I have stayed there many, many times and will continue to do so. Very well located right by the sea front, not far from the town centre where there is lots to do and, absolutely delightful staff who always make one very welcome.
