We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Isle of ManThe only real problem we had with our stay is the shower was very hot and we were unable to turn the temperature down. The breakfast was lovely but perhaps a little expensive. The room itself was clean and did its job but we were perhaps expecting a little more given how much the stay cost.
The room was large and clean. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. We stayed at the Crown Hotel for a wedding at Bawtry Hall, the location was brilliant for this as it was only a short walk to get to and from the hotel. The staff allowed me to check into the suite on behalf of the Bride & Groom so I can put their belongings in their room and decorate the room ready for them arriving later that evening.

United KingdomTo park your car at the hotel cost £6 for 24 hours which is acceptable for safe parking, however, you had to renew your parking from 8am. Surely when staying at the hotel a 2 hour grace period until 10am should be allowed to allow for a lie in.
Our double bed room in the annex building next door to the main hotel was spacious and airy with a smoothly working sash window which overlooked the high street. The bathroom was again spacious with a lovely walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent with a varied choice of hot and cold servings. The kitchen staff were young and enthusiastic and completed their work professionally and with a smile. The bar area was comfortable with a wide range of drinks and also served tea and coffee where you could drink inside or outside on the veranda which was positioned alongside the high street.

United KingdomRoom very outdated and did not look like the images advertised. When we checked in we were told we has been upgraded complimentary. The room we were given did not resemble the pictures for the room booked, nevermind upgraded. The room was extremely hot- the radiator was off. We had to have the window open to have a comfortable nights sleep and the outside traffic/people were very noisy. Room is very small and was not value for money. Hallway/stairways to the rooms outdated.
Bar/restaurant area of the hotel is lovely and very modern. The room had a lovely modern bathroom which was very large.

There was security on in the evening and we didn’t feel comfortable in the bar area because people were drunk and loud so we went to our room.
