The stairs. For those with a disability, the stairs would be difficult. They are narrow in width and the steps are triangular as they go around the bend in the stairs. But this is common in many hotels in the UK.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Eating in the bar at night was entertaining for someone who was by himself. For those who had been out walking the hills, the food was more than adequate.

Friendly helpful staff, good food and pub with good atmosphere. Good location overlooking harbour.

The bathroom would have benefitted from a good clean. The shower was freezing (hot tap on the sink worked, so I'm not sure what was going on here) and noone about to tell. I needed to be away for work early so was unable to feed this back at the time.

Location great as its right near the ferry terminal. Bar and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Veggie breakfast was good.

Expensive room rate - even by the island’s high rates for September. Bathroom old fashioned with weak electric power shower. Requires general maintenance, squeaky doors, toilet seat loose and not fixed securely

Centrally location for early morning ferry trip to Oban. The very helpful, friendly staff. The sole staff member visible and serving a busy bar took the time to show us to the room and sort out a problem with the TV. Room clean.

The walls between the rooms weren't very soundproof, so I could hear the other guests.

Near the ferry station from Oban and the bus stops. Good breakfasts and tavern downstairs. Centrally located on the isle of Mull.

Hotel carpet in breakfast room needs renewing, filthy. No option of brown bread for toast, second day lady brought our breakfast then we never saw her again so we only had one cup of coffee as no one about to ask for more. We had twin room, quilts seemed too small for the beds.

Good location, friendly staff, decent chocolate biscuits with tea and coffee!

This spot has so much potential, it just needs some well earned TLC, things like the carpet in the breakfast room, the decor in the rooms & stairs were all quite tired. It wouldnt take a lot to get it looking awesome again. Its tricky because the price point isnt cheap - so we expected something a bit more up to date I guess.

The location is pretty perfect, on the main ferry route on the island, so extremely convenient. The food was really good too, as was a warm welcome from the staff, oh and breakfast was really tasty too

Had seen previous reviews but assumed at least some of the issues would have been addressed...they hadn't. room was damp, paper was coming away in places. Window looked like a chimp had siliconed the glass in. Toilet seat was loose and came off, toilet roll holder hanging off...probarbly when someone held on for dear life. Others had complained about this a year ago.. filthy chair of death still in the room but covered with a blanket. Bathroom floor tiles all loose and unstuck.Mould round shower and windows and for some reason, the curtains were soaking wet.Window had been shut. Yes, I get that they're trying to make a living but the price is ridiculous for the standard of room. Seems they're just playing on the location and ignoring the complaints. Real shame.

Location is very good, guy with the glasses and ponytail was very friendly and frankly run ragged behind the bar.

Sign in at public bar, room carpet could do with a good clean, paid for breakfast separately think for the price this could have been included, however good food was served,

2 minutes away from the ferry terminal, staff are friendly enough , they do a very good evening meal, liked the look of the building,

There isn't much to do in walking distance, but Mull is best experienced with a vehicle anyway. If someone wants a "fancy" or super "nice" place to stay, this may not be their preference, although the simple homeiness is what gave it comfort and charm for me personally!

The staff were warm, welcoming, helpful, and hardworking, especially the gentleman who checked us in and worked the bar. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The bar/restaurant was good quality especially for its small size, and very convenient as it was directly downstairs. Overall, an enjoyable time that was memorable due to its homeiness and friendly atmosphere.

Like the many reviews before said: the Inn needs to be newly decorated, if they want to charge these prices. There was mold in the closet, on the ceiling, in the window frames. The furniture in the rooms could be updated. The carpet had visible stains. For maybe 60-70£/night it would have been okay, but not for 140£.

The food was really good, both the breakfast and the pubfood in the evening. Its quite an atmospheric little pub with a good vibe. The staff all around is very friendly. Clean linnen and towels, clean surfaces. Complementary tea, shampoo etc. Very quiet at night, even though the window faces the street.

Several nights got chilly outside, and the heater in the room worked wonderfully in getting things warmed up. The breakfasts were phenomenal each morning. I enjoyed being above the pub, and wandering down each evening for some hot soup and a pint, and walking just up the stairs, back to my room. Lots of parking, and a good location for exploring

This accommodation is suitable for younger people who perhaps don’t expect too much from where they stay. As a couple in our 70’s, who have experienced a wide range of facilities during our travels, The Craignure Inn was adequate. Having said that, it was clean and the staff were cheerful.

The location was good for us as close to the ferry port. Breakfast was good.

    As above

We needed a room last minute and took the last room which was a twin. The inn was packed when we arrived, mostly serving food and drinks to ferry travellers and probably folk from camp site near by. Matthew on the bar worked like a Trojan. He ran the bar, took and served food orders, checked us in, cleared and wiped down tables. Incredible work rate. But never lost his rag, was pleasant and helpful with everyone and even left the bar to help us with our bag. He created a cosy and friendly atmosphere in the pub. The food was generous, tasty and good value. Room very plain and a bit dated and my bed was uncomfortable- hubby’s was fine- but shower was good.
