The staff were mainly Indian and Asian, who all spoke very fast and did make it difficult to understand. The additional charge of just in case reasons was not explained very well and was a bit of a shock

Staff were friendly, Nitin on front desk and Bridget at breakfast were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Close enough to marlow to walk off the meal we had!!

The fact the leisure side such as facials and massages are always fully booked and not prioritised for guests. Should have first come first serve as me and my partner was unable to use any of the relaxation facilities due to this.

Just on this one occasion, cleanliness was not up to the standard of many previous visits which we have invariably been immacculate. Bed-top cover had large stain dead centre on arrival which was very quickly dealt with by a room cleaner who was passing nearby. Floor in bathroom was not 100% clean with hairs and small debris. Never enough milk in the kitchen.

Quiet locale. Spacious suite. Polite and efficient reception. Excellent parking.

One down for us was that we came with our 1 year old who is learning to swim , yet during the children's hours for the pool we were not aloud to bring her. If I had known this we wouldn't have booked as this was a family get away and we ended up having to take turns going to the pool area. For this reason we wouldn't be returning until she is older

Location was a short drive to lovely river views and town. The spa was a good size, and the bar and restaurant were large enough for you to have your own space.

Only fault was there was a dirty tissue behind the sofa in our room.

We were greeted with the warmest welcome, everything we needed to know was explained clearly. They even booked us a taxi for our dinner reservation. Could not have asked for better service. And use of the spa in the morning was a great start to the day.

there seemed to be a few times where the check in desk had a very large queue, think that was due to buses arriving full of guests, had tuna in the restaurant on the first night and I think it was mainly from frozen.

gym was surprisingly good for a hotel gym, had quite a range of free weights and wasn't too busy, hotel room was quiet, clean and comfortable, shower was good, breakfast was good, check in and check out was good too

I think the children's swim hours should be reviewed. I had a 16 and 13 year old, and was told child time slots Still applied to them. This gave us 8-10 in the morning and 2.30 -5.30 in the afternoon. With teenagers, this meant trying to fit a swim and brekkie in, in the morning, that wasn't going to happen and our day was cut short if we wanted to swim at the end of the day.

Having requested an accessible room, 1st one had shower over bath- most disabled people couldn’t climb over bath. 2nd perfect! In spa I found it difficult to access jacuzzi as no step to get in also no stairs to enter pool only ladder.
