We were unable to come the first night because my daughter caught a virus and was unable to travel. We lost the money for that night due to booking with booking.com which was a bit of a bummer. The manager said let him know next time we stay and he would give us a free night but with nothing in writing I highly doubt that this was anything more than lip service. Also no idea when we will be back in London. I don't fault him for that, he was trying to brighten a costumer's kind of disappointing day (we were also out the cost of non refundable theater tickets 😥). There is no penalty for being kind and he was very much so.

Location and staff and room were all great.

The most inconvenient problem is the fact that there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow. I was on the 3rd floor and one of the receptionists gave me the wrong key one evening. She insisted that I had given her the wrong room number. No apologies at all. The single room is tiny, with almost no place to put a suitcase. No breakfast.

The best thing about the property is the location in Covent Garden. The two receptionists that helped me with the luggage were polite.

Very minor issue, there was no lift for my 80 year old grandmother who had to climb 3 flights of very steep stairs

Clean, friendly staff and excellent location. 5 minute walk to Novello theatre

A nice little hotel in the center of Covent Garden. Close to the underground and a mixed shopping area. Easy to reach and with polite und friendly employees. Recommendable.

Bathrooms needs better cleaning. Shower head had visible signs of calcium build up that can be easily removed. Also some mold in the shower should be take care of. it is not difficult and does not cost much but makes a difference to guests

The location close to the opera and Covent Garden

    Nothing

Our second visit to this hotel and we weren't disappointed. Whilst it is quite expensive, it's worth paying because it's so quiet at night! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom big and well equipped, and the staff are fantastic. Just a couple of minutes walk to get breakfast (we found a place on Drury Lane). Will definitely be back later in the year - can't afford more than a couple of nights but a no-brainer !!

Well, its a fairly small suite for a family of four. For a prolonged weekend ok. A bit worn down, a few hours of paintwork would do good.

Superb location, 50 m to the Royal Opera, 100m to Covent Garden underground. Lots of bars, restaurants and pubs in the area. Quiet. AC worked fine. Nice room and friendly staff. Tee and coffee in the room.

Fan in bathroom noisy and one of the lights in the bathroom flickered constantly. Curtains didn't block out the light outside fully - blackout blinds would be more useful.

Location near to Royal Opera House is great for Covent Garden and theatres

The twin room we had (Room 16) was quite small and to get to the bathroom/toilet you had to walk down 8-10 steps which during the night wasn’t particularly good. The overhead lights behind the bed didn’t work either. The bedroom window needed a blind or net as we had to close the curtains when getting changed and it made the bedroom very dark when we wanted natural light. It would have been nice if the male receptionist was alittle happier with us when we checked in.

The location was brilliant. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very accommodating to store our luggage

I didn't dislike anything specific, but the room did get uncomfortably hot at night and the ac unit when turned on blew old dust on the bed. Besides that it was a very pleasant experience.

There was a water leak stain on the ceiling and the carpet was quite stained and felt a bit dirty. Would have scored higher if these were not there.

Fantastic location, nice staff, felt very safe as the reception is 24 hour manned. Nice complimentary slippers and very clean. Ideal to be able to leave luggage before and after checking in/out.

Carpets, paintwork and furniture were all a little tired, and there was a dripping tap in the bathroom and noisy bathroom fan. No breakfast provided in the hotel, but several options available within easy walking distance (this reduces to a couple of coffee shops if you need to eat before 8.30am).

Great location extremely close to Covent Garden, which for the price provided excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable bed, decent towels. Very polite night porter on the desk, who remembered me when I returned in the evening and checked out in the morning.
