Easy to find, traditional B&B great for a work stopover or walking

No complaints. I guess the trail up and back to Crianlarich could have been nicer.

We booked very late (minutes before arriving) but were warmly greeted, and Rod was extremely helpful and concerfor our comfort and ensuring that we were able to eat dinner at the local pub before it finished serving. The atmosphere at the house was warm and inviting. Breakfast options were very good. There were several options that we didn’t take advantage of, but it was nice they were available, such as laundry service, packed lunches, snacks. Rod was very helpful with trail knowledge, what to expect ahead, etc.

We had a very warm welcome from the hosts. It was great to stay somewhere small and friendly on the West Highland Way. Freshly cooked breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable room.

Andrea and Rod were exceptional hosts. The greeting was friendly and we received good advice about where to go for dinner. The rooms were very comfortable. The next day when guests needed transport and no train or taxi was available Rod very kindly drove them to where they needed to go. This was above and beyond what was expected for a host and greatly appreciated.

The location was very convenient for an overnight stay on our way up to the Isles. Our hosts were lovely and looked after us very well. They gave us tips for local walks from the house and local eateries. The village pub was a 2 minute walk away and served good homemade food. Our room was extremely comfortable with a modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and they catered for all our dietary needs. We would definitely stay again.

The stairs were a little tricky.

The hosts were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was quiet and had a lovely view of the garden. It was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good (pre-order) selection.

They actually had a medical thing come up, so booked us next door. We showed up, they apologized profusely, but it was all the same to us! Both places are cute homes in Crianlarich, just off the WHW and an easy walk to dinner. Everyone at both houses was quite lovely!

Andrea and Rod are two of the nicest hosts you could hope to meet when travelling on the West Highland Way. Their concern for my welfare, providing last minute and delicious food when I arrived late. They didn’t just let me know I had forgotten my glasses but met me on the route to hand them over and gave me a lift to avoid having to walk on the side of a busy road. The room was cosy and the shower had some power. Thank you for being so hospitable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rod was very welcoming and even dried our walking boots for us which was very much appreciated. The room was cosy, quiet and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would stay again and recommend to others.

There isn't anything I didn't like about it, its a typical BnB, somewhere to get a nights sleep and a good and filling breakfast the next morning setting you up for the journey ahead.

Very pleasant and informative welcome from the host. Room 3 had a rather pleasant view of the garden and hills in the distance. Its a Single room with what I would call en-suite facilities rather than a Private Bathroom, both of which were very clean and warm. Breakfast is served between 8-8.30 for this room and you choose from a number of items on a 'Wipe Board' and put this in reception once chosen. Off street parking available for about 5 cars if parked correctly, but be careful when reversing out of them as it is the main road through Crianlarich and its on a bend in the road.

Very welcoming hosts. Took our wet boots and dried them! Comfortable room that included a bathtub. Only place so far that offers to do laundry and also fix snack food if more convenient than going to the Rod and Reel pub almost next door. Great breakfast choices too.

Enjoyed the leafy view from our comfortable, tastefully decorated room. Kind interesting staff. Convenience of there being a restaurant next door but one, who sold good food, served by happy staff.

Not the property’s problem but be aware that the postcode takes you a mile or so past the venue (same problem for all the village apparently) so keep an eye out for the property on the way through Crianlarich. It’s just hear the Rod and Reel pub. The pub wasn’t serving food so you might need to look further afield. Also room was fairly small so we left most of our stuff in the car.

Clean, quiet room with comfy bed and a good shower. Breakfast delicious and plentiful and hosts helpful. Handy location at the top of Loch Lomond. Off street parking easy to access.

It would have been perfect if our twin room was a little bit more spacious, but that is inevitable when ensuite bathrooms are fitted into the rooms of an established, characterful house.

It is a very homely and friendly place. Lovely breakfasts, and Rod and his wife are happy to help in any way they can.
