Room decoration was bland, we could've been anywhere. Perhaps a little more choice for breakfast.

Lovely view. Very convenient, walkable distance to city centre. Excellent evening shuttle service to and from city. Lovely terrace for drinks. Comfortable, quiet room.

Shower water pressure was a bit of a let down. Took ages to wash the shampoo out of my hair because of this. Funny tasting water out of the bathroom sink taps which made us not want to even boil it in the kettle.

Great location, especially on a sunny day so able to sit outside and enjoy the view by the river. Lots of parking and safe. Loved the free shuttle bus to town and the driver was lovely! Spacious comfortable room

    Nothing. Perfect!

We were given a personal welcome by the manager. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was large and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel is very convenient for exploring Salisbury. The view from the terrace over the river to the cathedral is breath-taking. The hotel also provided free drinks on arrival and a free evening shuttle service into Salisbury to visit local restaurants which worked well and was very convenient. We had a wonderful stay!

Lovely property on the River Avon. We were offered an upgrade and really appreciated the extra space. Comfortable sleep and clean rooms. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the afternoon sunshine and thanks to both Jason and Mandy for the transport shuttle into and out of the city during the evening. The property is in a good location and is an easy daytime walk to the cathedral.

The staff are fantastic and go way above and beyond their duties. I simply cannot say how brilliant this hotel this. I travel a lot for work and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Was slightly let down by breakfast which didn't match the rest of the hotel quality. Some ingredients not available at time of eating but, by time they had come out we had finished our breakfast.

Location, decor & high standard of room.

    Nothing

The room was extremely clean and the scenery all around the hotel was fantastic. The staff were lovely and couldn't help you enough. The little extras that were done by everyone really made the difference and it was a great stay overall. The hotel was also only about a 10/15 minute walk to the cathedral and then town so very convenient location too.

The breakfast was a disappointment. I was expecting to be able to order from a menu. And the coffee would have been nicer in cafetières rather than filtered. It wasn’t cheap.

Beautiful setting with fabulous river views. Very welcoming staff and wonderful spacious room with comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and drinks on arrival. It felt very luxurious.
