Is a really comfortable place. It felt like home. Francien is a kind hearted person always open to help and gave me the best advices about what could I do or see. The place is well located. You can go everywhere by bus, train or the underground. Everything is very clean.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I had a trip away to clear my mind. I was drawn to Francien's beautiful house, and I wanted to stay somewhere warm, friendly, and welcoming. This is exactly what I got! Francien's home was clean, calming, and family oriented. Most importantly, I felt safe, and this is what all single travellers want, right? There was parking outside, and the property was located a short walk from shops. The bed was super comfy 😴 and the shower was also lovely. Francien is wise and knowledgeable. She gave me good advice and helped me to reflect on my situation. I found not only a good hoist but a true friend in her, and I am planning to return. 😀

The host was very communicative, kind, and welcoming. Small tour of the house was efficient and I was not disturbed at all. Bed was very comfortable, and shower/bathroom was clean.

The only thing I didn't like was that I wasn't able to stay and visit London for longer.

Francien is a wonderful host and made me feel so welcome. The house is immaculate and beautiful, with homely touches in the room and throughout. She is very knowledgeable and had suggestions on where to go, eat etc. when I was not sure. She was so happy to get to know about my stay (I was visiting for Pokémon Go Fest), and to learn about me, which I'm sure is the same with other guests. I really felt at home throughout and, if I am to ever need to be near there in the future, will look up this place again.

I stayed only two nights due to change in travel plans. I would have expected a refund for the other two nights that I was not there as I checked out at 7am.

The host was exceptional. This was my first time in London. She assisted me a lot with directions. Thank you Francine.

Would've been nice to be able to lock our room door from the outside when we left. But we do understand it's difficult to make doors lockable in a private home. Also had to wait a couple hours to check in as the host didn't get back on time four our check-in time and room wasn't ready. But Francien apologised profusely and we had access to the common areas while we waited.

Homey comfortable accommodation. Lots of coffee / tea / candies in the room. Comfortable and well-appointed common areas (back garden, living room and kitchen) that we unfortunately under-used. Francien is a gracious host who takes a lot of pride in opening her family home to guests.

I booked last minute and couldn't find what I was originally looking for, i.e., an ensuite room. Still, the place is so thoroughly comfortable that I was perfectly fine anyway!

A delightful location for a delightful host! The place is very comfortable in all respects, and Francien is a truly lovely person - which makes a beautiful place something special. The room was beautifully designed and furnished, and the house in general in tune with the Victorian style of the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Francien was wonderful - very welcoming and the perfect host. The room was lovely and very much a home from home. Although not en suite, the separate bathroom and shower rooms were likewise lovely. Very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend, unreservedly, for anyone who is looking for similar or the same.

There was dirt under the bed and the room was only cleaned once in the six days I was there. I found an already full trash can in the room. Some rooms especially the bathroom and lounge were really cold.

The location is perfect. Very near to public transport. The host Franciene was extremely nice . The beddings and towels were clean. The place always smelt nice and felt homely.

The bathroom is located on the second floor 13 steps up. The room was a tad cool even for me.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was on the first floor just to the right after you entered the house. Location was just a one block walk from the bus stop. The bus was 6 stops from the nearest Tube station. Room was nicely decorated with a desk by the window and a comfortable bed.

I don't completely understand that the price for a room doubles if there are two guests. But this might be a London specific thing. We ended up booking two rooms for the same cost as two people in one room.

Francien and Buki are lovely hosts and you can feel that the area is made of a tight knit community (e.g. neighbors were singing Christmas carols in the park just outside). I also had a nice chat with Francien and her granddaughter in the kitchen one morning. Rooms were well equipped and clean and the bed was super comfy! If you like to engage with your hosts and want your experience to be human and personal, this is the right place for you to stay.
