Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Jordanthey gave us rooms in separate locations one was at -1 floor and the other in 2ed floor, although the booking was made under the same reservation number. it’s not mentioned that there is a possibility to have a room in -1 floor with basement view :@, it should be in a lesser price than the regular one. The basement room had 2 spiders in it at the first day. It was clean but there were spiders

ItalyDuring our stay, there was water interruption. They posted it in the reception area and lift. What they could have done is call the guests per room to advise them. Imagine waking up late to take a shower only to find out there is no water. That is really unacceptable. The only reason why I am not giving lower rating on this review is because the reception guy (Indian accent) who unfortunately received my rant when I called them, called me back to inform me that the water was back. This goes to show that he remembered me and took his time to call me when the water was back.
Very good location. Near Paddington Station. Also near bus stop. Lots of restos nearby. Room is clean.

CanadaWe were first given a room in the basement until we made it clear that we wanted something in an upper floor. The bedding was not large enough for the queen size bed so we weren’t able to pull the covers right up. First time we e ever had that experience in a hotel.
The bathroom and toiletries were exceptional. Especially loved the heated floor. Staff were super helpful.

United KingdomThe room I had was fine except there were a lot of steps up and down which I wasn't expecting. I have bad knees so it took a bit of navigating.
I liked the location just around the corner from Paddington station. The breakfast had plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful and I could leave my luggage on the final checkout morning to collect later that day which was invaluable.

IrelandMy only complaint was that we were on the ground floor and our window was not in a very discreet spot. If the curtains were open, people could see us. So we had to have the curtains down which made the room a bit dark. Other than that I did not really have any complaints.
The hotel is in a fantastic location. Few minutes away from the tube station and surrounded by lovely restaurants. We were also close to Hyde Park. Additionally, the staff were super helpful and allowed us to check in early. The beds were also super comfy - much needed after a long day of exploring the city.
