Rooms were spotless and comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast was excellent and freshly made with a range of homemade marmalade etc available. Service was prompt and friendly. The owners were friendly and helpful with good local knowledge. One of the best!

John was a wonderful host and he went the extra mile to help us whilst walking the West Highland Way. Room was very comfortable and our breakfast was excellent. My daughter and I loved our stay here, if your on the West Highland Way this is a great spot to stay not far of the trail, Crianlarich has everything you need but make sure you stay here..

The accommodation is in a wonderful location. Unproblematic arrival, marked. The grounds of the house are perfectly landscaped, if you are lucky you will even see the local squirrels. The owner welcomed us very kindly, showed us around and explained everything. A room with a wonderful view, homemade cookies and working wifi. The property even has its own Instagram account, I recommend taking a look. The breakfast was absolutely perfect, you can choose in advance what you want to prepare for the morning and for how many hours. Homemade jams and lots of other goodies are also available in the breakfast room. This stay was really one of the best on Booking, I recommend it!

Everything was so excellent! The breakfast! The squirrels! The host was extremely kind and caring, and our boots and jackets were finally dry in the morning when we got them back.

nothing, but be sure to leave the water heater on for a 20 min cycle to fill up with hot water before you shower (which you will be informed of during the introductory tour)

Cosy cottage with wonderful host! Had all necessities for basic cooking + laundry as well. Breakfast was cooked deliciously to order + even the shortbread and jams were homemade. Took a slight detour off the west highland way to stay here, reached at 9pm but was still warmly welcomed☺️🫶🏻

Only drawback to the 2 bedroom suite was that one person needed to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. Not a problem as such, but if someone really needs the loo in the night it could be.

Stunning location, just outside Crianlarich. Clean, warm and comfortable with a friendly host. You can watch red squirrels from the breakfast table. We booked the 2 bedroom suite, which was excellent and just right for us.

Nothing I disliked

A comfortable room with very good facilities in a characterful building, close to amenities, local hikes and areas of interest. The lodge has helpful proprietors who serve-up a fantastic breakfast with lots of homemade and locally sourced elements. A very good spot to base yourself in the southern highlands.

Wonderful stay with perfect hosts. Really felt welcome. Breakfast was lovely and even saw red squirrels. Really enjoyed our stay and will visit again 😊 perfect location for Glencoe and the trossachs, surrounded by mountains.

Fantastic welcome and very comfortable stay! This was my most comfortable and welcoming stop on the West Highland Way. I was offered a lift down the road for dinner, and in the morning woke to a delicious full Scottish breakfast and dry boots.

Didn’t like that we had to leave in the morning to get on our way!

Clean, comfortable with lovely owners. Super straightforward and comfortable rooms with wonderful little seating area to relax and look at the outstanding views. Breakfast nicely cooked and plentiful- loved the red squirrels right outside the window eating their breakfast nuts too. We were just passing through but we’ll definitely be back at this BnB to explore the surrounding area more.
